Because if I cannot obtain eternity I'd rather never have been born. Life is not kind, and has not been kind to me. I'm quite exhausted from the long fight. That maybe someday when I reflect on my life and the path I took I can finally say, "It was worth it." That's the way to look at it. In the long scheme of things life may be futile, pointless in comparison to vast infinity that is our reality. But live your life, scale it down and you notice the now that you reside in. The happening that you inhabit is yours to influence and change. Compared to your peers, in this tiny world we live in, you are capable leaving a footprint to be remembered, one that will last. That is what we do, we can change things and create. That is how we achieve immortality, I'm sure you could pull that off. I am tired and my head hurts | ||
