but i think the price would go way down because the weed economy is based on how much trouble you get in when and if you get caught and its super easy to grow

it could really go either way the govt. could put a cap on the THC percentage in the plant or with its legalization even more research could be done to produce a plant with an insanely high THC percentage. There are so many variables for marijuana to be legalized, the most probable is that state law will decide. There will be an insane tax on it like cigs because most local governments are poor as shit and who doesn't want a little extra $$$

Exactly, due to a corporation's need for more money (and ties in most positions of the gov't), they would cut as many corners as possible to stay 'within' regulations, while also selling for more then it should be worth.
Not only that, but if it were legalized/taxed, then most people would be unable to acquire it both in the time they can now, and also in the quality it is obtained in.
All and all, decriminalization of marijuana usage would probably be better then legalizing it and making it an actual cash crop to be sold.
Gonna wait for people to correct the shit out of what I'm saying, now.
