I don't feel like going back through my class papers. You don't need to believe me but I'm just gonna say there is a lot more factual, proven evidence than most people know

Science is based on evidence. Recreatable, observable evidence. Sure, you can say evidence might not be real, maybe we're all in the matrix, nothing is real, whatever. We can't live our lives assuming nobody can know anything. The computer you're using is based on scientific discoveries and inventions. Any medicine you might take is based on science. Phones, cars, airplanes, pretty much everything in your life is based on science. If you're going to dismiss science as belief you're going to have to dismiss everything about the modern world as pure coincidence.

Science is, as a whole, a system built to figure out what's true and what isn't. Anything a scientist proposes, he has to find evidence for, test in a way that is recreatable, publish papers that get reviewed by other scientists, all intent on disproving them. The process is long and brutal, and an idea that makes it through and reaches consensus in the scientific community is necessarily a good one.

2. But that's the thing, what proves science and on what grounds?
Science cannot prove science; it is no better than Christians using Christianity to prove Christianity.

But... Christianity really is stupid... And agnostic atheism isn't... Science isn't a belief, and why would we pretend it is? Why bring it down to that level?
