And it's not hard to hit with the Pomson, it's actually rather hard to dodge because everyone is used to the usual projectile speeds being faster than the Pomson and it's easy to over-estimate where it's going to land. Often on someone at least

Well, as any projectile class you can't just fire carelessly at flamers with airblast. Or, you can but if the pyro knows how to m2 you may be screwed. And if it's slower than RL it is harder to hit with pomson.
