I know, I'm just saying, even when compared to Deadpool, Spiderman is far from easy to kill. Deadpool is a great merc and is extremely strong but I don't think he could beat Spidey
User avatar #223 - eiaisqzbsesb (05/25/2014) [-]
We're talking stamina here. Deadpool has virtualy limitless stamina, he never gets fucking tiered.
#224 - pariahlol (05/25/2014) [-]
Yeah, but who's to say Spiderman couldn't take him out before he himself wears out? Spiderman has a decent amount of stamina and could last enough to get Deadpool off guard
User avatar #225 - eiaisqzbsesb (05/25/2014) [-]
My arguement is that spidey could never truely kill deadpool, only restrict his movement.
#226 - pariahlol (05/25/2014) [-]
Yes, but killing is not the same as beating him. You can beat someone without ending their life, like encasing them in drying cement for example. Or pinning them under some unmoveable object. As soon as he can cause something of this nature, Deadpool is out of the game. Sure, he isn't dead, but he can't do any more damage. Additionally, if Deadpool is decapitated and dismembered, he isn't dead, but can't heal unless the disassociated parts of his body are put back in their proper place, so keeping him down is simply a matter of keeping the parts of him separate. There are plenty of ways to take out Deadpool without killing him.
User avatar #227 - eiaisqzbsesb (05/25/2014) [-]
Actualy, that isn't true. Deadpool can regenerate without having his body parts assembled. Also, I'm pretty sure he can teleport.

And you never truely beat someone without ending their lives. If deadpool outlives spidey, he is the ultimate winner. And as far as I'm aware, deapool doesn't age.

_His head or any other limb can be reattached using this ability, but has to be placed in the proper place.

And he doesn't have any ability to teleport, his only powers are his superhuman physical qualities and his regenerative abilities.

And sure, beating someone to a final degree can't be possible without killing them, but i'm willing to say that being buried alive in cement and left there until someone finds them (which could be years or decades) is being beat. At this point, it's debating semantics if you're debating whether or not him continuing to live for all eternity means he can't be beaten. In the context of a 1v1 battle in which only one of the two can walk away from the battle, restricted mobility constitutes a loss, since they have failed to defeat their opponent and can do nothing more.
User avatar #230 - eiaisqzbsesb (05/25/2014) [-]

Originally, Deadpool had terminal cancer. The WeaponX Project (which gave Wolverine his adamantium) offered him a deal: We cure you, you work for us. Their plan was to transplant Wolverine's Healing Factor into him, and let it kill the cancer. However, the Healing Factor instead merged with the cancer and started using it to keep him alive. From a practical standpoint, though, the experiment was a success: Deadpool gained Wolverine's Healing Factor and is now in no danger of dyign from the cancer.

His teleportation is another borrowed power. Cable is a mutant from the far future (something like 3999) who has a device that lets him travel through time. Since time and space are linked, he can teleport around at will also using the same device. It is keyed to only respond to his genetic code and will only teleport him and objects he is in direct contact with. Deadpool, however, ended up getting Cable's genetic information transplanted into him. As a side effect of this, whenever Cable used his time travel/teleportation device, Deadpool would end up at the destination as well. Deadpool got frustrated enough by gettign teelported at inopportune times that he stole Cable's device and added it to his belt, which forced Cable to build a second one. So for a while, both of them had the teleporting ability, but whenever one of them used it, both showed up at the destination. Eventually, they were able to fine, tune the system to be able to differentiate between them, so it only teleported the one who requested to be moved.

The teleportation isn't as a superpower, but is a device, and it isn't something he always has. As such, assuming he has the device during his fight with Spidey, he could use it for combat, but it wouldn't help him if his mobility would be restricted, as it can be assumed the device would be removed as well and he would not be able to access it i anyways
Wolverine's healing factor is not all powerful, Wolverine is perfectly capable of dying. However, Deadpool's cancer creates a unique variant of this healing factor. This does increase it's power and make it much more difficult for Deadpool to die. But, should his cancer be removed, or should his healing factor be removed (which both have happened in the past), he would either die without the healing factor, or without the cancer his healing factor would be rapidly producing redundant new cells. Which if left unchecked would cause horrible growths over the body and would eventually explode, as demonstrated on the Super Skrulls with Deadpool's powers.

Deadpool is immortal due to a god cursing him with eternal life.
#235 - pariahlol (05/25/2014) [-]
Well, technically Thanos isn't a god, but that's besides the point. Yes, he is immortal, what I mean is that it is possible to remove his healing factor or his cancer and both would severely hinder his ability to fight, though he wouldn't die. If his cancer was removed but his healing factor stayed, he would be in a constant state of horrible growths followed by death and resurrection. He can't die, but that doesn't mean he can't be taken out of the equation

Spidey isn't the strongest, I mean he obviously isn't at the level of power of someone like a Reality Warper like Franklin Richards. And theres plenty of people in the comics who are literally impossible to kill, doesn't mean they can't be beaten. Spidey once took out Juggernaut by leading him to drying cement and getting him stuck in that. While, Spiderman can't kill Deadpool, he can certainly beat him. And saying Spiderman tires easily isn't entirely true. In one giant battle alongside the entire Avengers, Spiderman outlasted the rest of the avengers and won the battle single-handedly when all the other Avengers were beaten.

Seriöst?

Har aldrig haft en sån fråga i hela mitt liv har heller inte sett någon annan klaga på att de får såna frågor 0.o

Look at my avatar once more and take a guess.
User avatar #97 to #96 - phantomi (05/23/2013) [-]
yeah fair point, but I've never liked the consortiums method of attack whereas the empires overwhelm the enemy with vehicular power strategy just comes easily to me

I like the game, I only think it's a shame that Forces of Corruption is so unequally balanced. In the original, there was a response to anything the opposition had. If they had an AT-AT, you should take it down with those Hoth fighters, if they had a Star destroyer you could take it down with a mon calamari cruiser. In Forces of corruption, it's pretty clear who is Favorited the most
User avatar #90 to #89 - eiaisqzbsesb (05/16/2013) [-]
Long live Zann.

They have a star destroyer?
Buy it.

They have a Mon calamari cruiser?
Buy it.
User avatar #91 to #90 - finni (05/16/2013) [-]
Yeah that's kind of why I don't like forces of Corruption. The Zann owns everyone in that game, nobody can stop them, they're too OP
User avatar #92 to #91 - eiaisqzbsesb (05/16/2013) [-]
As it should be. While light and dark wage their wars, corruption spreads. It enters the wounds of war where it festers, growing larger and ever more powerful as it drains the life out of both light and dark.
