It's meant to reach strategic places faster. it's similar to the "homegard" in LoL but you can toggle it while out of combat. HoTS is entirely focussed on the strategic teamwork. No need to last hit minions, just be near them. No items to buy. Just be at the right place at the right time. It's a bit like constantly being in the mid-game in league where you have to work together. Also, if you die once in lane the game isn't over for you for the next 10 minutes since experience is shared. If anyone else on your team can get a kill you're equal again. #18 -

bloggershe (12/16/2015) [-] The heros need to be bought, you can choose if you want to buy with gold (which you get with every match) or by using real money. There is also a thing called "hero rotation", you get 5 new heroes each week so you can try em out and see if you like em or not. The only thing that cant be bought with gold are some skins and mounts. Ahhh OK. What do the Mounts do? Because I have this invite thing that allows me to get a Vulture from SC2. #11 -
