You say that as if that's the only thing pi represents. In both its upper and lower case form, pi represents many different things across several fields of science.

Seeing that this post obviously has a physics and engineering flavor to it, you could've assumed we're talking about the mathematical constant. But it's all good.

The mathematical pi is symbolised with with a low case π whereas yours is a capital Π, which in Greek is pronounced like pee.
