FJ got hit hard with a lot of downtime recently. I'm working hard to improve the site, adding new features (mp4s, webms, and GIFs in comments, new comment features, etc) and trying to make the site better for mobile.

I have enough material for 4 different manuscripts of one-shot stories. Action, Drama etc.
And I have over 20 pages manuscripts for just simple jokes.
My only issue is time. But I'm doing the best I can! I love making content.

edowaado (04/20/2015) [-] I finished my gymnasium education last year. Now I'm working as a part-time janitor, while I do comics in my spare time. I know I have to choose university soon, but I'm kinda in the ''What am I supposed to do with the rest of my life'' phase.
I would love being able to make a living out of comics one day though.

True with the Janitor work, but it helps me along to earn enough, while I work on my comics. I'll rather take another gap year and focus on what I really enjoy and improve than trying something that just occupies me from what I love.

Will you be a janitor forever, drawing on the side? If making money off comics is your dream you gotta push hard for it. Try to establish a fanbase, make a patreon maybe branch off from funnyjunk, build your own site. You gotta work hard to make your dreams a reality
