I'm in the U.S., and I plan on getting my Paramedic after my EMT. I have considered law enforcement after a few years of medic, I'd like to be a detective.

Im not sure I'm cut out for being a detective, even with training I cant piece things together or think laterally as well as others might.

Uniform, I plan on starting out in tactical response (The guys that are sent when citizens call the emergency number). You can choose whichever division you like as long as you're willing to train for it, so I want to try as many divisions as i can. Starting with tactical response, and moving to k-9 unit, Flying Squad, and eventually Special Task Service (sort of a south african swat).

The weapons we get to use are awesome :D The police you see walking around here almost always carry rifles and shotguns, such is how terrible the crime is over here :P

This is what I'll wear in Tactical Response, that guy isn't me, i just found it while surfing. And instead of that GC36C Im gonna request a Striker shotgun or an R5 assault rifle.

No, not yet. I am starting my EMS training next spring, after I get my EMT license I want to get the star of life tattooed on my chest.

That's awesome! I was going to be an EMT, but I live in South Africa and was turned down for courses because they had reached their quota for "White" people at that time... so right now I'm currently training to join the Police Service.
