Well said (on both of your comments.) I definitely like the strategy of giving them choices, but limiting them to a reasonable type and quantity. Hell, I think It's actually a good strategy even when presenting choices to adults. I remember when I was dating that I'd prefer to say or hear "I was thinking we could go either ____ or ____ tonight," because choosing for them seemed pushy but offering no input at all seemed apathetic and put too much pressure on the other person (or me.)

I remember similar stuff with my parents. I wanted to play with my sister's toys because I actually thought the way you could interchange all the clothing and accessories on some of her toys was really cool. And I liked stuffed animals because I really liked animals. And I liked the color purple (still my favorite color, actually.) I got shamed by my parents and my older siblings for it out of some fear that I'd end up different or 'queer' if I didn't play with boy's toys. I'm now a grown man, and I still think women's fashion is neat compared to men's fashion, foxes are cute, and the color purple is great. But I'm certainly not the socially-unstable flaming queer they thought I'd turn out to be, I adapted to society just fine (thankfully without losing my individuality.)

Oh, sure. I know. I've recently struck up a thing I guess. I'm not really sure. I think she might like me... with this cute punkish mathmatics girl I met at the student bar. For the first time in a long while, I've met a girl that doesn't bore the shit out of me, and thats really great.

However, its very rare. I'm not gonna go all neckbeardy with "all woman are fucked!" statements and this isn't a "I'm forever alone!" thing either. I've had sex on a relatively regular basis, but sex and actually being entertained by the person you're doing it with, are two very different things.

This can go for some men as well. I'm not into 'alphas'. They can be just a fucking boring. For a one night stand, sure...why not? As long as they don't open their mouths, the sex can be okay, but for conversation they tend to lack the necessary stimulation. They use their looks and brawn to attract women as much as attractive women use their looks.

I'm glad you found someone you are into. And I totally agree with you. I certainly hope it works out well for you, FJ sibling. I'm currently dating someone who craves sex every day (yay!), but only enjoys plain Jane missionary sex or head (not yay....). So I, too, get sex on the regular.....but it's boring as fuck....excuse the pun.
