different is not always wrong, and I doubt most people who uses a such a hat, uses it for it's function, but rather for looks.

secondly, I agree with you regarding the sticker, you get stickers on lots of cloths, why keep that? you jsut look fake as fuck, I mean why not keep the pricetag on your sweater when your first at it.

Alright man listen up. I'm no swagfag, but I do collect hats. Why? Because I enjoy them, they make a good accessory, and because I want to. I leave stickers on some hats but I'm okay with having hats without stickers. People ask me "Why do you leave the sticker on?! It's annoying and stupid!" Do you want to know what I tell them? I say "I bought the damn hat, so fuck off." If I spend $35 dollars on a hat, I can do whatever I want with it. If I don't mind the sticker, then I'll leave it on and it is up to nobody but me how I dress. My style is 100% mine. I mostly just wanted to use that picture really badly, but anyways I specifically meant the "swag-fags" that go around acting like....well, swag-fags and showing off their clothing to show people how rich or spoiled they are, and they announce it. You keep the sticker on so if you have a nice hat, you can take it off without getting your grimy fingers on the brim and messing it up.

Unless your hat is pure white and your hands are covered in mud I really don't think that's an issue.

Your hands are greasy, happens even with black hats. Also, when you take the sticker off a hat it's discolored under it.

If your hands are greasy enough to visibly change how the brim of your hat looks, I would think you have bigger issues. I've had a few hats like the one you're talking about. I don't wear them anymore but when I used to there was never a mark where the sticker used to be, and when I went out to work (In an auto repair shop, dirty hands galore) or came back with dirty hands it never changed a thing. Most of mine were a darker color, so I can understand an issue with lighter colors. But the main thing I'm talking about are the people who do it "because it's cool" I don't hate them or anything, but it makes you wonder why.

What point are you trying to make? It's a hat, they are durable. They are meant to protect you, not be in mint condition. If you value your hat that much, then great. If you wear a hat with a sticker on it to help protect it, thats even better thinking. If you go around telling people that your hat is "legit" and "cool" and showing off the sticker, you're an asshole. That's the point I'm trying to make.

It's also a way to show your hat is legit. The hats I buy don't come with a sticker(Supreme). Why is somebody an asshole for keeping a sticker on their hat?

Yeah, I just used a ton of sanding, which was extremely time consuming. It did work out efficiently, though.
