You're confusing my use of the term with your own definitions, we are talking about perceived morality here, time, and society. So don't insult my intelligence, it's not my fault you can't understand something so simple.

You're literally spouting nonsense. Yes it's true that our perceptions are altered because of our senses and ways of registering information. That does not mean that everything is an illusion... Is 2+2=4 an illusion? Is the fact that all bachelors are single an illusion? Then you go on to say that people panic when the illusion is shattered right after you just said that everything is an illusion. You literally sound like a stoner who's in the middle of taking a high school philosophy class.

1. Ty.
2. Yes, it actually does, if both parties are drunk when agreeing on something, neither side can be blamed more than others. This is a key concept in the first world.
3. Honey, if you think thats how the majority, or even a significant portion of the people lived(outsiide of africa and the middle east ofcourse), then you have some required reading to do.
4. Because sex and rape are two different things altogether. When to people are attracted to eachother, that means that they see eachother as benefical to their gene pool. Rape is merely forced sex, which can have a number of different reasons to occour, mostly from revenge or desperation.
The reason it can be mentally damaging, is because your fucking life is in the hand of a violent idiot.

5. Yes it is. I mentioned an adult, and you automatically go with adults being a "trustworthy adult figure". Kids should have the absolute minimum respect needed for authority figures. The rest is something they have to earn.

6. Your the one who goes with the age 13, not me. But your argument is wrong anyway. You can't "make" people want you. They fucking want or don't want you, regardless of what you do.

7. I know a fuck ton about morality. I dare say i even know more it than the vast majority of people.
Also, firstly we need to get on common ground here. A: Philosopy iis not a science, and have never been so. It's merely ideas about the untangible.
B: Thats two very fucking broad subjects we have yet to map out.

1. It would by illegal by YOUR law, not the law of my country.
2. We where both drunk, so none of us could actually abuse the other one.
3. MANY may not be fine with it, but MANY MORE are, if human history is to have a say.
4. How are the chances of getting serious mental damagde high, when sex IS THE FUCKING NUMBER 1 BIOLOGICAL PRIORITY OF OUR SPECIES?! I'd fucking love to see studies thats can back that up.
5. No one besides mormons, muslims and koreans teach their children to blindly trust in adults.

Morality and emotions are only fucking connected in hillbilly societies and religious groups. The rest of the world tries to avoid that as much as possible.

1. Congratulations.
2. Oh lord. Being intoxicated obviously removes all responsibility right?
3. Human history? Selling off little girls into marriage to someone they don't have a say on at the ripe age of 8. Sounds harmless.
4. Sex is the number one biological priority of our species. So how can rape cause serious mental damage right?
5. It has nothing to do with teaching that. Kids should all have a respect for authority figures at a young age. Not blind trust. They are also very easily manipulated by these figures. What kind of a selfish person tries to get a 13 year old to want them and takes their innocence?
6. You clearly know nothing about morality. There are many many different philosophies on morality. Almost all of them revolve around pleasure and pain.

Well thats your emotions speaking. That might aswell be worth jackshit, and does not give you any right to decide for others.

I didn't ask you about an adults right to have sex with a teenager, i asked you about a teenagers right to have sex with an adult.
My first lay was 11 years older than me, i was 16 and she was 27.

Was that abuse? No, we both got drunk out of our mind to a party, and i asked her if she wanted to bang. So we did.
#124 - dyslexicspiderman (06/18/2014) [-]
Emotions and morality are often connected. You're saying your emotions in a personal experience weren't negative therefore it's okay? Don't see how that's any better. The younger the person and the larger the age difference the greater the chance of serious harm. You think a 13 year old who is easily manipulated by a trusted adult figure (such as a teacher) should be able to make that decision? The chances of that creating serious mental damage is very high. That's why it's illegal. Technically your experience WAS abuse by law. You are fine with it but MANY are not. ESPECIALLY taking advantage of a minor when "drunk out of our mind".
