Well your opinion is wrong. Avoid as many harmful things as reasonably possible. You can easily avoid alcohol. Honestly all I drink is water really. Never soda. It's all within reason. I don't go insane reading every single food label of everything I eat because that is too much and not reasonable. I just avoid the obvious common knowledge stuff. Rarely eat candy or anything else sugary.

Don't bother replying to this retard. He thinks his opinion is always right, and that anything he disagrees with is wrong and stupid. He has at least a dozen copypastas for different things he hates. He says he wants to discuss about whatever he hates, but he still doesn't seem to realize that people don't like discussing things with somebody that calls them a dumbass for having a different opinion.

I don't smoke or drink coffee because they're bad for you. There are a lot better alternatives. For example, an apple wakes you up in the morning better than a cup of coffee. And it's much healthier. They still do it because they are idiots who don't care about their bodies. Well for those most people they're making the wrong choice. They deserve to be judged for being fucking idiots. Don't want to be judged? Don't be a dumbass. Easy as that.

I didn't say you did. I merely reasoned that by extension of your logic, smoking and drinking coffee are bad. Which as I correctly pointed out, is exactly what you think. Which is fine, if you live your life completely healthy (and I mean completely healthy, i.e. no soda, candy, etc.) Because if you don't then you're being very hypocritical. Again by your logic, people are dumbasses for drinking/eating those things. I just feel like there is no reason to judge, and that anything can be good in moderation. But that's simply my opinion.

That is the point. They don't have the ability to spy on the millions of calls made every single day so you have nothing to worry about. Snowden is a criminal and a traitor. The FACT is he signed a contract of confidentiality and blatantly broke said contract. There's no other way about it. That's what happened. If he didn't like it he should have never signed the contract. He leaked top secret information to the public and our enemies. He is a terrible person.

But I do, because it is a violation of my rights. If they can do that now, what's to stop them from violating my rights further? Where do you draw the line? So no, I should be very worried. On the other hand, you're right about him being a criminal, but I don't agree with him being a traitor. He shared the information with the American public, not our enemies. You're also right that because he signed the contract, he was legally bound to not say anything. But as angelmatvey said, he did something illegal that was morally right thing to do. I believe it would be better if someone did something illegal and right than legal and wrong. Ergo I believe you cannot classify him as a terrible person. Terrible NSA operative for sure, but not a terrible person. Think about it, let''s say he found out that instead of them spying on us, the U.S. was actually responsible for all the human trafficking in the world (hypothetical). They would argue that this is what allows for our freedom as U.S. citizens, that it is because of this human trafficking that everyone can be safe. Wouldn't you want to know that? Wouldn't you want someone in the government to wake the fuck up, and tell everyone what's really going on? Regardless of their signed contract? Ultimately we should hold our government responsible for its actions, not have our government hold it's citizens accountable. Granted, he can't just get away with this. But they will tear him to pieces if they catch him and that's not right. And I'm sorry if this seems like a rant, but I really feel like the bigger issue here is our civil liberties being taken advantage of, not whether or not he should go to jail.
