It's a year since i joined fj today, i've been looking through 50 pages of my comments.

I'm gonna pass out from nostalgia please help me
User avatar #3436 to #3435 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
Quick, eat a watch to get your time fill.
#3437 to #3436 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
it's not working, also i seriously hate when something has been going on for more than a year, something that takes of a considerable amount of your daily time, because then events start stacking up on the same dates(excluding years).

I found a comment where you posted a picture of rainbow dash, and phan posting a picture of blaze while she was still a lyra recolour, and just so many other things, my mind can't handle all of these memories.

My first months here where i frequented ponytime seems so much more enjoyable than my time on the thread tbh.
User avatar #3438 to #3437 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
You're over thinking it.

I remember when Phan had a simple rageface, before Blaze.

I fucking agree. Ponytime was before everything went to shit. Everything was so simple.
#3439 to #3438 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
I am, i care too much about the past, i frequently have dreams about my childhood home which i won't let go of.

I remember you told me, seems like ancient times.

I remember that i made sure to check all posts on ponytime every 23 hours at least, making sure i didn't miss anything, maybe i should go back to doing that.
I don't know man.
User avatar #3440 to #3439 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
Same here. I had a dream Saturday night and it made me feel like shit. It wasn't a nightmare, just a fucking dream that made me want to crawl into a corner and cry.

I say that shit all the time, I know.

I've actually already started.
#3441 to #3440 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
Exactly, that's what i'm getting a lot of, not nightmares, just dreams that hit soft spots, sorry about your dream, i know the feel all to well.

Getting reminded is always good.

You do that? I've been assuming you were done with the whole brony craze thing?
User avatar #3442 to #3441 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
It's fine man.

I just went back and posted on a post or two like ten minutes ago. It's not something I'll do normally, but I went back for nostalgia reasons.
#3443 to #3442 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
I should start doing that, i really should, nontheless i need some consistency, it's really a shame that all our old conversations are gone, even though i can find small snippets of them from my comments, the links just leads to deleted comment urls.

Oh god the stuff i'm finding.. On a good note, i just got a great idea for a drawing my looking back on one of my older conversations.

I have no idea what i'm doing anymore, life was so much simpler from 0-9th grade, every year was like a simple cycle.
User avatar #3444 to #3443 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
If I would come down with some terminal illness, things would be much easier. I'm lazy, weak, and selfish.

You can sometimes read deleted comments. Can I ask what your idea was?

It is, though. I miss all those old conversations.
#3447 to #3444 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
Also have i told you about that game i love before? Called The Void where you had to collect colour to survive in a limbo like world, i'm sure i've told you about it.
I was reading the most popular guide for it yesterday, and i realized the writer actually included my at one point, because i had a alternative strategy to complete one of the tasks in the game, something i posted on a thread he made in their forums in the summer of 2011.

I found that kind of amusing, i've read parts of the guide several times and i never noticed.

had to post it over 2 comments, character limit.
User avatar #3448 to #3447 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
You've told me about it, and that's pretty cool. I mean, it must have been awesome to know your strategy was in a guide.
#3450 to #3448 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
As an alternative not recommended thing to do, as it messes up the dialogue of one of the npc's afterwards and later in the game and inconsistancy in the story.

Still made me happy though, considering it's my favorite game, and i'm a part of the probably most popular guide.

How could i never notice, only ever posted 11 times on their forum as well. Actually replaying the game over the last week or so.
#3445 to #3444 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
I think about stuff like that too, sometimes thinking about how life would be if i was mute blind deaf or similar, and would have to rely more on others, a horribly selfish thing to think.

Yep, which is a good thing. And just the idea for this comic with derpy, i can just picture it in my mind as a comic that people will find funny and want to share, or i might be completely wrong, i'll make sure to show you if i ever make it either way.

Me too, at least we will have all the skype ones intact.
User avatar #3446 to #3445 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
Ah, Depry. If I recall, you were particularly fond of an image with Derpy's face shopped into it that said "All hail the Muffin Queen!". It was a .gif I believe.

Yes, those Skype conversations. So great to have them, so we can talk about turtles ad nauseam.
#3449 to #3446 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
You're scary because you know me way too well.. it was a thread where i used that gif, and the idea was a comic where derpy is a queen of a sort.
Way to well..

Ahahaha
User avatar #3451 to #3449 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
Aww, you should be flattered.

Oh, really? Was it like something that wasn't meant to happen because it messes up the dialogue?

You've said nothing but good things about the game, and I'm kind of interested in playing it.
#3452 to #3451 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
I am.

Well basically it's an open choice for you to do, but not something you're pushed towards doing.

It's 8 or 9€ on steam, i'm super biased because i love the game, you're not gonna get any action, it's slow paced and basically a resource management game.
The beauty lies in the themes of the game, patriarchy, the artistic values and interpreting what is actually going on since the 2 groups of npc's will mostly lie or tell half truths.
There's no right or wrong in the game, survive long enough and you'll get some kind of ending, people will tell you what to do, but as long as you have hp left there's no game over screen or something you must do.
User avatar #3453 to #3452 - dumerveil (04/29/2013) [-]
Oh, alright.

Well, I would get it, but my laptop is such a piece of shit. Plus I'm currently downloading Infamous 2 and can't FUCKING WAIT to play that.

Also, I'm trying to go three days without eating to see if I can do it. It fucking sucks so far.
#3454 to #3453 - N. Korean citizen (04/29/2013) [-]
The game is from 2008, so there shouldn't be any problems with running it, but no rush either way, haven't heard of that game, hope you enjoy it.

Now why would you do that? Sounds unhealthy and silly

What the fuck is up with people on the thread...?

Just depressing.
User avatar #3422 to #3421 - dumerveil (04/15/2013) [-]
It's the internet, I guess. People feel that it is permissible to act like that, as they cannot in the real world.

Tragedy, over time, becomes comedy. Have you really ever sat and thought about a joke before? They're pretty fucked up. Jokes make light of tragic events. It makes them easier to accept.

Although it seems what's going on now is just attention seeking. Every person is trying to get the joke in first just for that few seconds where they were the guy who made the so hardcore joke about death. Don't worry about it too much, man.
User avatar #3424 to #3422 - madmanslantern (04/15/2013) [-]
Didn't Karl Marx say that?
User avatar #3423 to #3422 - madmanslantern (04/15/2013) [-]
I try to not joke too much about horrible things, at least since I grew up:(

But okay.
User avatar #3425 to #3423 - dumerveil (04/15/2013) [-]
Oh, by all means, it's a terrible thing. I don't think there's much harm in mocking the dead, but I certainly don't condone it. I can't sit here and act self righteous, I can remember once laughing at a particular 9/11 joke in September 2012. Try not to worry about it, though. People will always be people. I'm not much of a psychology buff, so I can't explain it myself.

Also, did Karl Marx say what?
User avatar #3426 to #3425 - madmanslantern (04/15/2013) [-]
Mhm. I understand. Using it as coping mechanism.

Karl Marx said "First as tragedy then as farce" or something like it.

User avatar #3411 to #3410 - dumerveil (04/09/2013) [-]

User avatar #3412 to #3411 - phanact (04/09/2013) [-]
I could have sworn you deleted your account...
User avatar #3413 to #3412 - dumerveil (04/09/2013) [-]
Well, I hold all the evidence to the contrary, don't I?
User avatar #3414 to #3413 - phanact (04/09/2013) [-]
Technically, there is no evidence, being as a deleted account still has favs, comments, profile comments, inbox, and everything else
User avatar #3415 to #3414 - dumerveil (04/09/2013) [-]
I don't see user has deleted account next to my name, and I am able to reply.
User avatar #3416 to #3415 - phanact (04/09/2013) [-]
If you get an account undeleted, it has no evidence it was ever deleted.
User avatar #3417 to #3416 - dumerveil (04/09/2013) [-]

User avatar #3418 to #3417 - phanact (04/09/2013) [-]

I've waited for this day my whole life.

Nah, but seriously, I hadn't even realized.
What's up, though?
#3398 to #3397 - N. Korean citizen (03/21/2013) [-]
oh god that had me chuckling.

Not much, mostly gay things, and well a lot of drawing which is going quite well, even though the more i like a drawing the more i hate it at the same time.

What about you?
User avatar #3399 to #3398 - dumerveil (03/21/2013) [-]
>gay things
Nah, fuck it, I'm out.
Do you still draw Scootaloo exclusively?

Same old same old. The only accomplishment is that I've successfully beaten Dark Souls. Living for the weekends now, I guess.
#3400 to #3399 - N. Korean citizen (03/21/2013) [-]
Prolonged exposure to ponies do that to you.
Nah i stopped that with the last drawing i showed to you, i'm drawing a lot of different ponies now, i even have days where i can make a drawing a day for 3-4 days in a row, i'm a bit sad i haven't drawn anything the last 2 days for the same reason.

Oh alright, i hope you enjoyed it, i still need to play it some time.

Also Sohard and Greatnames both deleted their accounts, in case you wanted to know.
User avatar #3401 to #3400 - dumerveil (03/21/2013) [-]
Understandable.
Sounds like you're just getting into ruts. They happen, and they pass.

Did I ever enjoy it. It was fucking great.

I actually saw Sohard deleted his account. Have you any idea why they did it?
#3402 to #3401 - N. Korean citizen (03/21/2013) [-]
Yup i'm sure it will, thanks.

Heh that's good to hear, i've been enjoying single player games lately.

Greatnames was something about not coming here often or something like that, he came back on an alt as far as i know.

Sohard did it because he was depressed, i talked with him and he said doing it was a mistake, coming back with an alt is a possibility but not guaranteed.

Anyways, it's really late here so i think i'm gonna hit the bed before we get into too big of a conversation, see ya around man, i hope all goes well on your front.
User avatar #3403 to #3402 - dumerveil (03/21/2013) [-]
Huh.

Alright, nice to know you're still out there man. Sleep tight.
#3404 to #3403 - N. Korean citizen (03/21/2013) [-]
If that huh was aimed towards me saying thanks, it was just because you said that about ruts and they pass.

Back at ya, sleep well too when that time comes around.

So so, I guess.
How are you?
#3384 to #3383 - N. Korean citizen (03/07/2013) [-]
That's wasn't a very in depth explanation of how you're doing

Been feeling pretty shitty lately but i'm during a pretty good job with managing it and not letting it get me down, so i'm actually feeling alright.

Then i'm amused by the fact that a few reaction pictures i made are still used on the thread sometimes, despite me leaving several months ago.

Also the old runescape servers are up now, in case you didn't know.
User avatar #3385 to #3384 - dumerveil (03/07/2013) [-]
Well the last few weeks have been shitty.
My dad turned 60 on the 24th of February, and I don't want him to keep getting older.
The next day I discovered my dog had been dug up, and his body mutilated by some wild animal. I had to rebury him.
I hurt my shoulder at work, and my mom and I got into a little argument. It got resolved, but I had a panic attack. I've been incredibly anxious ever since.
Some other stuff I'd like to tell you about, but I think that's enough to process for now.

I'm glad you're able to manage your feelings. It's very important. I often see aclo.polipse using that Aladdin reaction image you made, but what others did you make.

I did see the old servers are up, but I don't know if I want to put out the money to play.
#3386 to #3385 - N. Korean citizen (03/07/2013) [-]
oww, that's a terrible lot of sad things, sorry to hear it goes so, if you wanna talk more about it we can get on skype.

Only barely though, i don't think I've ever been this far down but i don't think I've ever concentrated so much on not letting it get me down either.
He still uses that Aladdin image? dayum lol. The other images are the "le bradley face" one and the one with karthus that says 666, people are still trying to roll with it every now and then.

There's not really much to come after besides a bit of nostalgia, to much grinding.
User avatar #3387 to #3386 - dumerveil (03/07/2013) [-]
Eh, I'm going to be going to bed after I finish this video.

Sweet are the uses of adversity. Sometimes it seems like we get by just barely.
Yeah, often. I see him use it a lot on frontpage posts. I do remember le bradley face, and the Karthus one as well.

I know, but that feeling of nostalgia, however brief, makes it all worth it, right?
#3388 to #3387 - N. Korean citizen (03/07/2013) [-]
oh alright then, i just woke up. Hope you have a good nights sleep though.

Yup.. don't really got a lot to say here, i'm just sad that my mother is sad on my ways, it's not helping, and i try my best to cheer her up.
Oh man that warms my heart, it's like my legacy lives on, also the habit of mine where i wanted to roll 77 still lives on the thread too.

Completely worth it, i played with one of my friends, when we got to level 6 in combat or so we went on a mission to the lava maze to pick up the steel platebody, though it wasn't there for some reason, i could have sowrn there was a steel platebody drop there(best part is picking up other players stuff when they die).
#3379 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
Why did you post on Arthur miller and then a few minutes later on dumerveil.
Also, wanna talk a bit on skype?
User avatar #3380 to #3379 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
I don't know what I'm doing.
#3381 to #3380 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
he, sounds like a joke, but i'm worried too.
#3360 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
what's up, how was your day?
User avatar #3361 to #3360 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
Same old.
Work was shit, as usual. Went to go talk to my teacher at school, and for some reason I was incredibly nervous. Got to see my nephew and sister in law after a while. Overall, not so bad.
How about you?
#3362 to #3361 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
Same here.

Woke up late 1pm, got some stuff drawn, watched a disney movie with my sister and ate pancakes.

I started getting into Disturbed though, their music is pretty cool i guess.
User avatar #3363 to #3362 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
Pancakes? Damn, your day is automatically better than mine.

What movie was it? Also, is your sister hot?

Oh! I used to listen to Disturbed a lot when I was younger. I loved their music.
#3364 to #3363 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
lol i guess that's true.

The lady and the tramp, this is the second time we've put on the Great Mouse Detective where i changed my mind, i'm pretty sure i'll die of nostalgia if i watch it, so i postpone it.

It's cool enough, i'm on a journey through all their albums atm, it's cool but nothing stands closer to my heart than Linken Park for the moment being.
User avatar #3365 to #3364 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
Never did like The Lady and the Tramp. I don't know, never was a fan of lovey dovey movies, even animated ones.
I've never seen the Great Mouse Detective.

Also really loved Linkin Park as a child. Seems like Denmark is stuck in the early 2000's.
#3366 to #3365 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
I'll watch pretty much any disney movie, they're just so well made in my opinion.
Damn, it's funny though, i'm sure i've watched it more than 20 times, but i haven't watched it in 5 years or something. You should watch it.

Yup, pretty much.
User avatar #3367 to #3366 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
Eh. They're enjoyable I guess.
I've never even heard of it. What is it about?

I'd kill for it to be the early 2000's again.
#3368 to #3367 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
It's like, in London, it's basically a Sherlock movie but with rodents

Me too, me too
User avatar #3369 to #3368 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
That explanation took you that long?

Ah, the 2000's. Such a simple time. Back when the white man was at the height of his power.
#3371 to #3369 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
anyways i went through the comments on your profile, a lot of nostalgia even if it's only the parent comments that are left.
Barely the only thing that wasn't gone was a nsfw comic vync.e posted, god damnit man it hasn't even been deleted due to the not uploaded in 60 days thing.
#3370 to #3369 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]

So, anything else on your mind?
#3373 to #3372 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
It's 3 am, i'm drawing, talking with 3 people, and listening to fast music, my mind is racing man.
Nothing apart from the comment above i guess.
User avatar #3374 to #3373 - dumerveil (02/20/2013) [-]
I only kid.

I actually go through my comments every so often. I do remember that hoofbeat porn comic. They made a second one, but it seems the first is still very popular.

I'm sure there would be a lot of nostalgia if you checked your comments as well.
#3375 to #3374 - N. Korean citizen (02/20/2013) [-]
I'm pretty sure i'm allergic to nostalgia though.

When i feel down or sad, it's pretty much always linked to some form of nostalgic event or thoughts.

truly a piece of art
#3354 to #3353 - dumerveil (01/30/2013) [-]
Saw it on the brony board and had to save it because it reminded me of this.
#3355 to #3354 - N. Korean citizen (01/30/2013) [-]
well that makes more sense.

Wanna skype? it's alright if you don't want to
#3356 to #3355 - dumerveil (01/30/2013) [-]
I always make sense, anon. Don't you know by now?

Gimme a sec.

I see you are using this account again
and I heard you were feeling better
just like to say that I'm glad to hear it
User avatar #3316 to #3315 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Thank you anon, you are my greatest ally.
User avatar #3336 to #3316 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
yeah....but even though we haven't talked in awhile
I still consider you a friend and want to see you happy....even just for alittle while
User avatar #3337 to #3336 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Friend, that's just a word. Fact is, you're judged in this world solely by what you can do for others. It's why when you die, it will read "Job description, age". Not "nice father" or "good friend" because honestly, who cares about that?
Like I said, don't feel obligated.
User avatar #3338 to #3337 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
but it does say those things on grave stones ^^

aw.....don't be like that
User avatar #3339 to #3338 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
How nice. Now when a group of satanic wannabe teenagers ransacks your grave to defile your corpse, they'll know you were a nice guy.

You know I'm an old school cynic, man.
User avatar #3340 to #3339 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
does that really happen? 0_0
User avatar #3341 to #3340 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Well, yeah. People write cliche crap like that on grave stones all the time.
User avatar #3342 to #3341 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
...I mean't the satanic wanabes....
User avatar #3343 to #3342 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Ya don't say.

Shit, I dunno. I go to a small school in a small area. Shits more likely to happen where you reside.
User avatar #3344 to #3343 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
maybe.....that sounds extreme though
User avatar #3345 to #3344 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Are you even aware of the world we live in? If it makes you feel better, you'd probably just be a skeleton by that time anyways.
User avatar #3346 to #3345 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
ah death.....that great equalizer
weather you're a jester or Alexander the Great you will all be skeletons at one point
....I have been reading Hamlet :I
User avatar #3347 to #3346 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Except Alexander the Great will be remembered for all of eternity. It's hardly an equalizer in my opinion. Hamlet. Easily my favorite of the Shakespearean canon. Although taming of the shrew gives it a run for its money.
User avatar #3348 to #3347 - whyisthissohard **User deleted account** (01/23/2013) [-]
there is that though ^^
#3317 to #3316 - N. Korean citizen (01/23/2013) [-]
so how's it going?
User avatar #3318 to #3317 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
Not too well, really, but that's nothing new. No sense complaining when I could change it, right?
How about you, anon? Are those damn Asians still reading your mind?
#3319 to #3318 - N. Korean citizen (01/23/2013) [-]
oh.....that's too bad
ssh they will hear you
User avatar #3320 to #3319 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
"Sweet are the uses of adversity". No point in living if everything is given to you. Life is one big learning experience, or at least that's what I tell myself.
What are they going to do? It's not like they associate with anyone but other Asians anyways.
#3321 to #3320 - N. Korean citizen (01/23/2013) [-]
well....as long as that makes you feel better
I guess you're right....it is going to take them awhile to get to me anyway, atleast if they are driving
User avatar #3322 to #3321 - dumerveil (01/23/2013) [-]
If only.
Truer words.
#3323 to #3322 - N. Korean citizen (01/23/2013) [-]
do you mind if I ask what is wrong?
#3312 - N. Korean citizen (01/16/2013) [-]
You're just about the only one who can make me come out of my lurking.
Saw you post, wanna talk on skype?

You know who it is.
User avatar #3313 to #3312 - dumerveil (01/16/2013) [-]
I'm flattered.
And sure.
#3307 - dtox ONLINE (01/09/2013) [-]
hey dumer, I finished that picture I was drawing of balin.

I wanted to know what you thought.
User avatar #3308 to #3307 - dumerveil (01/09/2013) [-]
Holy shit, that's great. Do you draw often? I mean, I'm a shit artist, so things like these always amaze me.
#3309 to #3308 - dtox ONLINE (01/09/2013) [-]
Thanks!

real quickly, here's the absolute FINISHED version, fixed up his beard and some other parts of him that I wasn't happy with, just wanted to share it with you.

And I don't know how often is "often." I draw whenever I can, and it's usually due to spontaneous inspiration (like the hobbit movie, which lit a fire under my ass). If I could, I would draw every moment of the day until my hands bled, that picture of balin I worked on for a good portion of the day without eating or taking a break.
User avatar #3310 to #3309 - dumerveil (01/13/2013) [-]
Just like an artist...

I get like that sometimes. Usually it's not creating, but I get into these little states where I'll read and think for long periods of time. Food and sleep can come later. I hope it doesn't sound insulting, but I'm a little surprised. You never struck me as one to draw.
User avatar #3311 to #3310 - dtox ONLINE (01/13/2013) [-]
lol really? that's funny, I tend to share my artwork here and there with others on FJ. guess you just never caught sight of my pictures.
#3304 - dtox ONLINE (01/08/2013) [-]
Here he is. he still has a lot of work left to do.
