From reading what happened, I think you should try to stay out of the way of your classmates and try to focus on your academics. Get those things straight first. You said you're not going to college yet, right? That means, when you do, it's gonna be a clean start. (Notice how I didn't say "if." I said WHEN.) Don't worry about the socio-economic crisises going on right now, there's nothing we can do ALONE. Try to keep yourself focused on school, helps nullify the terrors of the outside world. Use music, if it helps. Exercise when possible. Physical activity is good for keeping negative thoughts at bay. Try see a psychologist if NOTHING ELSE works. If possible, try to get a part-time job to pull in a (small) form of income.

Still in high-school. Trying to ignore my classmates, but I can feel my blood boiling as I sit in class. Feet tapping, thumbs banging on my desk the entire class. I just wish they would shut the fuck up. I can't stop thinking about economics when my exam is on Wednesday. Politics are rampant, I can't go five fucking seconds without seeing an ad about which dickhead wants to ruin the United States next. Already have a job, but I can't spend any of the money I earn (no access). Physical activity is difficult in a tiny house, it's 30 degrees outside, and your only neighbor in your agegroup is a racist, homophobic dropout.

As an added note, I can't even do an activity I enjoy right now. I'm not even supposed to be on FJ.

Tried that, didn't work. I've tried crying (never came close), screaming, freaking out, beating a book against my head as hard as I could, the only thing I haven't tried is beating the shit out of one of my dogs, which I don't plan on doing.

Lately, I've had to go through the long, painstaking, expensive task of college application, exams studying, bullshit last-minute tests, enormously assholish classmates, looking back to my stepfather (who is now in prison, which is why I haven't seen him in 12 years and why my family is living off of disability), my sister leave to college, and meanwhile I'm watching the planet's social and economic collapse, crumbling underneath my feet. I feel like destroying everything in sight regardless of life, but I know it would only make things worse for me and the people around me. I've made several choice mistakes lately, shit I could have easily avoided. Now my mom is pissed at me constantly, which pisses me off and we end up in unnecessary arguments. I fucking hate life right now, the only thing keeping me alive and moving is that I hope that things are going to get better.

I haven't been genuinely happy in days. I fucking hate it, and I want it to be over. Don't misunderstand this as a contemplation of suicide, taking your own life and future for something temporary is retarded.

I need something to help, and so far nothing has helped.
