Thanks, and I can't imagine how 100+ is gonna feel. Is the night at least in the mid 70's if the day is that hot?
#48 - fresighto (07/03/2015) [-]
Yea depends on where in Texas. Dfw stays 90+ and Houston's hits 75-80

Yeah, that's usually around where it hits, some nights get colder. It's almost like a desert-type weather because it's a dry heat out here. Hot days and cool nights. Just don't ever expect any snow, you'll be disappointed.

Hell yeah. That guy has done way more with his career than any mainstream rapper. Building schools and churches in third world countries. He's a great man.
#23 - nozombiesman (07/03/2015) [-]
I know dude and he does it all on his own independent label. He's my goddamn hero.
User avatar #25 - dudemiesterman (07/03/2015) [-]
Just seeing how he's used almost all his own profits to help other people when there's guys like Lil Wayne and Kanye making millions upon millions and just buying nice cars and shit disgusts me. A real man uses his gifts and talents to help the human race, not try to sow the world how badass he is.
User avatar #28 - lordogames (07/03/2015) [-]
An easy way to explain badassery would be: if you have to say you're badass, you're not badass.

just because an artist has songs like that however, doesn't mean all their songs are.

on an unrelated note, if you like independent rappers this dude's pretty good imo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-DvHqoWicM

Got a question for you. I moved to Austin 5 months ago from the north. The summer here is way hotter than anything I'm used to. I went out and bought a palm leaf cowboy hat at Cavender's a couple days ago because I want to keep my face and the back of my neck in the shade, and a cowboy hat fits the bill. I'm just a little too embarrassed to wear it outside. Being a liberal city and such, would people think I'm very weird for wearing one?
User avatar #40 - dudemiesterman (07/03/2015) [-]
Eh, in the Austin area people may make assumptions, it is a fairly liberal area. I'd say just use sunscreen. I've lived here all my life (20 years) and I don't own a single cowboy hat. The only time I'd consider one is when I got camping, but I don't really need it. It'll take you a few years to get used to summers in central Texas but I love the Austin area. It's home to me, and it's a great place with some very nice people. That being said, this summer has been VERY mild compared to recent years, so be prepared to get fucked in the next couple years. It's not uncommon to have 100+ degree weather every day for a month straight.

I lived in Austin for a couple years you know, the part of TX with a moderate climate , there is no adjusting for the heat.
User avatar #96 - asotil (07/03/2015) [-]
I'll be in Houston by the Gulf for Marine Biology, so it'll be hot all the time

This will be hell since I'm from Vermont/New Jersey

Only thing I really know about Texas, is that your govenor once decided to gather people together in a football stadium and attempt to pray all Americas problems to go away.
In my books, thats reason to think you're all hicks, sorry to say it.
#72 - anon (07/03/2015) [-]
I actually respect Texas because (from what I understood regarding gun laws) its the only state in the US where you can shoot to kill the bloody sack of shit that's trying to rape your daughter and no questions will be asked heard about that case on the news earlier this year .
Meanwhile I'm stuck with a bunch of pansy ass hippy faggots here in europe where I can get sued if I as much as INJURE someone that breaks into my house With a melee weapon of-course

Media in general goes overboard, conservative and liberal. That's why it's the media. Because they give the people what they want, and it's never the truth.
#79 - anon (07/03/2015) [-]

Yes im aware. Thats the rifling of the barrel grinding against the bullet as its going down the barrel. Every gun of the same model has the same rifling unless the owner switched barrels. Even if they did switch barrels guess what? Same model. Same rifling.

That would be unnecessary. All guns of the same model have the same effect on bullets fired from them.
User avatar #56 - dudemiesterman (07/03/2015) [-]
No, most guns have very small grooves that they leave in the rounds, which are individual to the actual specific gun. Of course ignoring guns that use shells.
