My cross-eyed condition meant that I couldn't put the two images together without my glasses, and if I looked through it with one eye I'd get dizzy because I'd need to move it around.. it wasn't fun.

also youre just as much of a self absorbed asshole if you go out of your way to beat up somebody who doesn't excplicitly train to fight. you could easily just validate yourself in your head like. "he's just a bodybuilder, i can beat him up," but no you want validation from others making you just as self absorbed as you believe him to be. also the ifbb ( bodybuilding corperation) constantly has expos so fans and other aspiring powerlifters bodybuilders and olypmic weightlifters can promote and inspire eachother. that sounds a whole lot more humble than how i see most professional fighters behave

He didn't go out of his way to beat up someone, some fuck-head walked into HIS fight center and CHALLENGED HIM. What are you on about dude?

and i give the guy credit where credit is due it takes balls to go in to a dojo and challenge the head instructor like that, sure he got his ass handed to but i dont think the bodybuilder(if he really is one looks more like a college football fratboy considering he went straight to attempt a takedown tackle), if he really went to try and beat up the instructor why doesnt he use actual street fighting? dirty jabs, haymakers, calf kicks. things you do in a street fight. i dont think the guy threw one punch either video (attempted to slap wayyy to high and on a cliche as time handshake fakeout) , so even by street fighting the guys a dumbass. but with that considered why is this then satisfying? the instructor slapping the fuck out of a guy on the ear hard and often(which deals brutal damage to the ear and hearing) when the guy never hit the instructor, he really looks like he's only trying to out wrestle him.

It's satisfying because
-douchebag walks into dojo
-challenges head instructor and acts like hot shit
-gets his ass handed to him immediately

Like why do I need to explain how that's satisfying? The reason he didn't hit much was because he never got the opportunity from being immediately and constantly pinned.

Less effective? Have you ever seen someone tazed or pepper-sprayed? They are plenty effective. You can't continue fighting when you are completely unable to see. You can't continue fighting when you're having muscle spasms on the floor.

This device is basically hitting someone with a hammer. Very painful, but not actually physically incapacitating. Unless of course it scores a hit on the head or neck. Then it's quite possibly lethal.

This invention is bad at physically incapacitating an aggressor, and the chances of this invention killing you are several orders of magnitude higher than a tazer or pepperspray.

There are a ton of things that could go wrong with it that would cause your gun to be lethal, such as fragmentation of the steel bearing or improper alignment. This device can easily be lethal even when used correctly. Even if everything goes right and it's non-lethal, there's a very high likelyhood of inflicting permanent disability.

Rule 1 of gun safety is that you never point it at anything (or anyone) you are not ready to destroy. This device causes you to break the first rule of gun safety. This device is not a good non-lethal tool. If you do not require lethal force, you should not be using a gun. Ever.

Traditional devices are both safer and more effective. This system is quite simply an inferior product.

I mean walking into a gym just to start shit doesn't sound like the mentality of someone who is trying to be responsible. Like people don't think wow I should be an asshole but I should dial it down so its still a felony but like a gentle felony.

Also, if you were talking about the body builder trying to hit him, any kind of punch/slap/strike can get fucked up. You don't always throw a perfect strike dude. The only fight were every single hit touches perfectly is a choreographed one.

I was talking about the black belt running the place, obviously someone walking into a martial arts center and shouting "who wants some?!" isn't responsible.

or when people think "oh i go to dojo, i do cum fu, i can kik any1's butt" but you flip your shit due to your stroken ego being fractured if you lose, which happens more freguent than not, because not all martial arts are good for street fights and you have to very VERY good at it in order to convert it into street fight use which realistically can take like over 10 years

Well it's not so much about certain martial arts not being good, it's about having a good teacher and actually understanding that going to a few lessons doesn't make you a fighter. You have to understand it takes months of practice to even be able to hold your own, years if you want to guarantee winning most fights.

Yeah because a television show where each episode was viewed by millions of people and endorsed actively by the actors is totally the same as a youtube video viewed by a few hundred thousand people that the "actors" don't even share with people.

I don't know man. Look at the strike the body builder throws. Its an open hand karate chop. Who does that. That's not even something untrained people think to throw.
