**nagafever rolled image** the anime only covers 50% of the storyline this far, and hasn't been updated since the 80s (judging by shit quality) and the movies are better quality but i just don't like those computer-animated animes

but just imagine you had to wait years for him to get off that boat and you will understand the struggle...

they made 3 remake movies fairly recently covering the first 100 or so chapters (the golden age arc) overall the movie was rushed and sloppy but i think it still captured a lot of what the series stood for. i would only recommend watching them after reading the manga as naturally much of it was cut.

It wasnt covering the manga.

It was covering the anime.

It was bassically a remake of the anime in film form and the anime obviously cut a lot of elements because it ends so early on in the story so including puck or the skull knight would be meaningless and confusing as they play no important role other than in the last 5 mins When skull knight saves Guts in this arc.

And considering they only had about 6 hours to work with in the 3 films and the anime was about 8 hours of content, I think they did pretty well including the most important elements. Ideally they would have made a 4th film and included more, but then each film wouldnt have had a proper end like they did in these 3.

Oh it is, don't worry. I've just had that in my folder for months and have been dying for a chance to use it.

Tea comes in big massive boxes that last forever, and it's way more convenient to just stick on the kettle and have a cuppa than head out to the pub and get a pint. Less expensive, too.
