Oh, that's neat. But it still only works like the average far-gun-sight. If you have the gun at an angle, and you put the dot on your target, you will be off by more and more the further they are. It's designed cleverly to extend the length the image is traveling, so it replicates the length of the barrel, but it's still designed almost in the opposite way of the content, which gives me the idea that maybe they're using a prism to invert the way the viewing angle would change the image.

Right, right, but weapon sights are designed to do the opposite of what this is doing. They bounce the light only to make a larger image froma smaller diode, while making sure the image DOESN'T adjust to different angles, so you still need to align the images like traditional sights (from my experience), where as the projections in the content seem to move WITH the changes in viewing angle.

Eotech 552 Clone Holographic Sight Review A holo sight projects the reticle on a fixed point "behind" the glass, so when you aim at something you don't have to alaign your head perfectly.

Right, but then they wouldn't line up with the figurine inside at most angles, they must have bounced the projection off of several surfaces so that when you look at it from a different angle, you also see the projection at an angle similar to the figurine.

Like in a holo sight I guess, just with multicolored and moving images.
