Kim Jung-Un is an illiterate, poor, stupid moron without nuclear weapons, a veto and powerful connections with China (practically its only ally). Very sad for his "people", but sooner or later we'll seize the chance to help them out.
Putin and Russia are in a different league from NK. Kim Jung-Un cannot get away with anything, he can only up the already terrible pain of his people. I do not fear NK, the Japense and South Koreans might, for good reasons. But me he cannot touch, yet.
Putin follows his guts, extremely impulsive and wants to restore Russia to a state that resembles Sovietism. He does this the same time he has nuclear weapons and a veto. He has made it clear he wishes to challenge Western domination ( unless you are a moral relativist, you simply have to concede that Western society is favorable to non-Western ones. . The man is extremely dangerous, he has the potential to start a nuclear war, NK does not have this chaotic element - it is a laughing stock and a great source for dark and said jokes.

Well, suggest what you will of me but I really just respect and take an interest in people generally. I'm not looking to join one of those generic, unstructured and aimless groups out there nor one of the demanding and intrusive one.

Those are your two basic options. Structured and competitive or relaxed and enjoyable.
#14 - spleencer (10/03/2015) [-]
Yes, but I want to make a more moderate group. An example of what I mean would be that regular sessions of certain games would take place but they'd be optional to participate in with no penalty if you didn't. Personal freedom is a massive emphasis and I think it's ridiculous that some groups kick people out for not being participant in things they don't care for.
User avatar
#16 - usarmyexplain (10/03/2015) [-]
So, you just want a relaxed teamspeak server to hang out on where people will play games with you if they feel like it?
#17 - spleencer (10/03/2015) [-]
No, the end result I want is people coming and going as they please with the ability to make their own choices. An example would be that if one wanted to play a certain game and make the group aware and more or less invited, some form of leadership in the group would open a TS channel and if it became popular enough, eventually a dedicated server tuned to the group's liking. Additionally there would be specific times at which events happened that the whole group would be encouraged to participate in, like a session of a particular game on a given day of the week, for example.

Not only are you flat-out lying about Russia, you are also misrepresenting Marx. Marx was not a Communist, and would certaintly not have liked Stalinism. Early Leftists considered America the new experiment, the new chance, the land of liberation and secularism, all the while dismissing Russian Tsarism (correctly, in my honest opinion) as the country of religious fanaticism, backwardness, illiteracy and stupidity; entirely doomed to failure.
Individual Russians might not be, but Russia, or Russian'ism if you will, is fucking nuts. People rationally "fear" Putin the same way they fear a mentally-deranged lunatic with a loaded weapon.
#18 - drumandbass (10/03/2015) [-]
Never said Marx was a communist, but he was the father of communism since he wrote the manifesto of communism, which was a manifesto about a social construct without social classes.

Also, i never said that Russians weren't nuts. Russians are one of a kind: Bat-Shit crazy but in it's own way... not good not bad, just russian. and yea, tsarism was IMO just shit, like every radical party.

You seem to forget that they also drink to keep warm, since wood isn't easy to gather in most regions. It's like that in pretty much every country where there's shit weather all the time (looking at you Fjord-states/Alaska). Also shit weather is naturally depressing to humans.

Infrastructure: They could renovate every street atleast every year. The material get porous in these temperatures, also the thermic effect destroys it pretty fast (warm -> expand, cold ->shrink). They have new streets in tourist centers like moscow but everywhere else it's just too expensive to renovate a 40km street for a town with 200 people.

Drinking alcohol to keep warm is like drinking poison to improve your health
Drinking alcohol doesn't make you warmer. It makes the capillaries beneath the skin expand which increases the loss of warmth, though this will make you feel as if you're warmer. This is one of the reasons many people have died from hypothermia

Except the shitty infrastructure isn't limited to merely shitty roads, but sidewalks and such as well

In my opinion Adventure Time has pretty much the most complex story. It's just not that 'in your face' kind of story. I like it that it's that way, some big pieces of background story in a 15 second flashback in form of a joke. Love it.

Neuro is just my all-time banger genre.
But never forget Darkstep (not the fagstep kind, the oldschool DnB Darkstep á la Spor, N.Phect, The Panacea,...) Crossbreed and so on *-*
