So would you consider that an error on payroll behalf, or pin the issue directly on the person who didn't check out? Assuming they did it knowingly, that might not be such a mistake for an accountant to make but simply just a fraudulent attempt to earn more than they've legally worked for. Also, how is accountancy? I hear it's got great pay, and I've always had a love for maths.

Also, it's pretty great. It's a bit tedious at times but getting to move large amounts of money is fun.

Since I use a third-party payroll company, they were involved in the settlement and I switched post-hand. You have to consider all sides. Were time cards marked correctly. Was the payroll paying attention when making checks. Investigations have to happen but generally this type of issue is handled internally, since it's all clerical error.

here he uses both terms: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL6hp8BKB24

it just feels strange for me to use CGI for CG when CGI already is an acronym I was using daily and CG had never been used. It's be like if LOL didn't mean "laughing out loud" anymore, but instead peopled used it for "Leage of Legends" or something. Or if "OC" suddenly meant "original content" instead of "Orange County".

of course it does, because someone came along and changed the meaning a decade or so ago. When I was growing up, CGI was "Common Gateway Interface" (web technology related) and CG was "computer graphics". Watch any behind-the-scenes deal from the '90s or early 2000s and the graphic people say "CG". So when they started saying "CGI" I was like "what the fuck does Perl programming have to do with computer graphics? Oh, you think it means 'computer-generated imagery'? Well fuck you!"
