| it has literally nothing to do with sexuality, just what gender they feel like #102 -
N. Korean citizen (06/17/2013) [-] Now think about how much the LGTB is fighting for awareness of "Gender Identity Disorder" in children as young as 5! These kids have no peers. Almost every celebrity kid is "homeschooled" because their parents are moving around all the time, often spending months in other countries for filming or touring. So it really doesn't matter either way, these kids aren't gonna get any social interaction aside from their families. Also, this usually fucks up the kids for life already, so if they decide to be cross dressers it's really just the icing on the cake at that point. #34 -
goodcheese (06/17/2013) [-] They already do learn a lot of conformity from many different sources. Why should gender conformity be one of them. Just let them dress how they want. Why is pink even a girls color and blue a boys? Why are dresses for girls and t-shhirts for boys? Who made these rules anyways. There are plenty of straight cis gendered children who wear clothes often considered to belong to the other gender. It doesn't matter their eventual sexual orientation or whether they become trans or not, if a kid wants to wear clothes that are appropriate then it shouldn't matter what gender it belongs to. And the argument that they'll be made fun of is bullshit, first of all kids make fun of eachother for any number of reasons like the fact that you wear glasses or if you dropped your lunch tray. We should tell the kids that are bullying not to bully. Gender is a social construct and so conforming to that is bullshit anyways, if you saw a straight cisgendered man on the street wearing a dress would you get mad at him? If you want to raise your kid a certain way fine that's your right as a parent but it's these parents' rights as well to allow their kids to dress how they please. | ||
