I'm arguing tooth and nail that someone who had infinite speed at will could move anywhere just as fast as someone who teleported. They're saying the teleportation causes the being to stop existing in one place and simultaneously exist in another. My arguement is that because of the abstract concept of infinite, if you had infinite speed you could move an infinite distance in an infinitely small amount of time.

I'll keep it simple:

To teleport, the concept does not involve the breakdown of the body itself for transport purposes. You only ever exist in one fixed place at any given instance. Therefore, if you can teleport, assuming it's instant, you're moving at infinite speed in an abstract time scale of nothing. Therefore, the idea of teleportation being used is identical to the concept of movement at an infinite speed over an abstract time value. So, since your point is that the speeds are equal, you are correct in this theory.
