Kinda agree with this one. Some old games do some things better but what I have noticed the strong negative points of those games are often shrouded in nostalgia.

I think every game must evolve but it also needs to mostly remain true to it's roots (unless the genre clearly changes). Having identical remake after remake would kill any franchise.
