anyhow this whole anti-social thing is not the product of vibrators, or VR sex machines, or whatever you could think up in the subject. it is really just the whole process of building mental walls. at work, on the streets, everywhere. part of the reason some people (mostly men) just can't smile at anyone without being taken a creep, or otherwise being frowned upon. so they just join the mass of solitude totally limiting their interaction to others. of course it's not all dark and i'm glad that i recently got into a community - whenever i'm not sittin on my ass, being unproductive on fj - and generally a work place where people, whom may have never met before dare to smile at each other without the whole "being offended that another human being made contact with me" part. FINALLY my point is, that using objects will not make you treat people like objects. other people: your boss, co-workers, people on the street treating you like an object that they need to get around is what may, or may not make you do the same eventually to your surrounding. so yeah, i really don't see if i should get disgusted if some random person rather use something better than hands and fingers, but too beta to score...

in any case, i get your point of "if they just gonna be sit-at-home-doll-fucking-VR-fags with no worth to society, then why have them" but that's the thing, they stop furthering the family tree, die eventually and free up space. i know it's a bit harsh, but again it's a theory of what this could come down to. morally might be in the top ten kindest ideas, but i think it's still a better option than those population reduction plans that i've heard going around.

will get thumbed down for this so hard but stopped reading after the population thing. SO GLAD i finally saw it. Like the whole world could fit in Texas and every single person(that means a family of 4 gets 4x the amount) could have like 100 sq ft of room to themselves, that's not overpopulation of the planet in ANY way.

this actually builds up more layers to debate on and most of it depends on human kindness.
overpopulation is mostly the trademark of developing countries because of heavy religious reasons; people don't know any better than just spawn babies all around; child mortality if i pump out 7 of these brats and at least 2 survives it's good, if more survives it's better ; big families can support themselves better when payment is scarce, but flows from many directions. however after a number the system crumbles under just keeping itself afloat. and obviously more wealthy countrie's citizens rather build career than have kids, or just have one child and that's it - talking about in general.
now here is the thing. we know money, resources, food and wealth in general is anything but evenly distributed. now let's just say that this will never change, cause of human want, envy, and greed. do you anyone in general believe if we lower the population with the current amount of resources, we would bump into the same problem, because the top small percent would just collect the rest of the wealth and everything, with that increasing the gap, or the overall living quality would increase from the surplus resources even though the ratios would stay the same?
also i'm kinda glad we haven't populated more of the land on earth. we cluster into cities for a reason instead of everyone having an equal squares of land across the earth. it's more efficient. now let's think big, imagine that the population reached levels where we need a continent wide city. imagine it's power usage, or every continent's for a matter of fact. we don't have technology to support it and i doubt we will ever reach that stage, but for all we know: wind, water, solar energy is jut not gonna cut it for a long time; world kinda gave up on nuclear energy, cause of all the scary radiation stories and basically using the most outdated, cheapest, and dirtiest method. not to mention it is still just partially renewable; oil, coal, gas... yeah. so yeah basically we are fucked on that matter and then we would have to have a world wide lifesupport system, cause we used up all the space we had for trees and not have the extra heat and heat reflection created by the big cement jungle cook us up. again this is a WHAT IF that i could imagine if we progress with what we have now.
Don't know, the "tfw no gf" obviously has stages from the jokingly "ah yeah i haven't been looking around for the past bit, i know i'm such a loner." to the full blown mental cases and i think this "omg having sex with objects" is really just stress relief. i mean people do themselves off cuz they figured out it's good for getting rid of tension and it feels good and it takes less effort then finding someone willing right then and there obviously not talking about relationship when intimate contact has deep emotional meaning , then people figured out that why don't just use something more functional than fingers and hands and that's why dildos and fleshlights exist, or roughly on that point, but it obviously depends on the individual's kinky factor and such.
