Why is it that as soon as someone disagrees with you, they're immediately "butthurt"? Maybe they just don't agree with you.

I'm Canadian and have nothing to do with guns and even I see that is stupid. Certain... people, learn to emulate what they see on tv; which does necessitate some awareness to proper usage. Yes it is stupid to those who know better and is promptly dismissed, but people who have never received any safety training will have that image rattling around their head and may assume that to be the way that they should act with a gun; or may even think that could happen when talking to a cop. The former is very dangerous on it's own right, but the latter could cause the person to overreact to a response from a cop; which the cop would then react to and could possibly feel in danger and may attempt to defend him or herself.

It doesn't have to be guns. Anything that needs to be used with caution could be demonstrated in an unsafe way, and people who don't know any better might perform that unsafe action, putting themselves or others into danger.

hes right, every detail matters in films. you cant deny the fact that youre just crying over nothing really. what are you accomplishing by bitching about a funny comment. if you wanna cry, go writte a book about it and then go back to your corner of shame. thanks for spewing shit on the community you waste of human resource.

even with a blue gun, you still practice trigger and muzzle discipline

Back in the recruit period of the military, we spent 5 weeks drilling gun safety before we were let anywhere near any sort of ammunition. Gun safety is serious business, and for anyone who has any experience with guns, you sorta cringe when people do wrong.
#35 - anon (12/01/2015) [-]
I agree man. It's not that important, like when I watch movies with snipers - and they take an enemy or target down, and the movie / show doesn't get that pink puff right, it doesn't make it any less of a good movie.
User avatar
#31 - spunkmckullins (12/01/2015) [-]
You don't have to be in the military to know that putting your gun within reach of someone you're arresting is a bad idea.

"feel good about expressing your superior gun safety"
A little realism in any area you love, greatly improvesd the experience It's why I wasn't a fan of the matrix, didn't hate it but the fights felt terrible

Completely agree with you. It's hilarious how reactionary the gun lovers get over posts like this, haha!

Getting small details right when it comes to making shows/movies is pretty important, actually. Trigger discipline is pretty common knowledge, so plenty of people will notice. You don't want the cops to seem like retards in movies when they aren't supposed to be.

that's why i liked paul walker SO much, he ALWAYS held guns PERFECTLY
#85 - porkslapchop (12/01/2015) [-]
I'm not even into guns but I love it when they show trigger discipline. Or how an assasins shoots twice into the center of mass and then one in the head (don't know how correct that is though)
User avatar
#71 - TheBobby (12/01/2015) [-]
This is a comedy. They couldn't give two shits about realism. If anything the trigger discipline would take away from the comedic value because it would seem too serious. They probably just handed her a fake gun and told her to go crazy with it.
User avatar
#72 - dreygur (12/01/2015) [-]
That could be the case, and as >>#1 deliberately states, may be the reason why he's so scared by it.
User avatar
#74 - TheBobby (12/01/2015) [-]
but there's no reason to be nitpicking the actress. it literally makes no difference to anyone's life how she holds a fake gun in a comedy show that in no way shape or form is meant to be an instructional video on firearm safety
