Well, mom took Scooter to the vet one day for her weekly insulin test. She met a woman with four westies, one of which was tiny, and the other three rather large, but they were all full grown. She said they were rescues from a puppy mill, and lo and behold she says the puppy mill was the same place where we bought Scooter from. To be fair, the lady had a website, and that's why we went to her mill in the first place. I was rather young at the time. We bought Scooter for only $300 due to her aforementioned defects, but we all wonder what happened to her perfect brother that we saw.

You always have to ask for papers when you go to a breeder. I've had yorkies all my life, but after mom got cookie and found out where he came from, we started only getting our yorkies from AKC registered breeders. They're a bit more expensive, but they're healthy.

Scooter had.......a multitude of problems that may or may not have stemmed from the fact that she clearly does not adhere to the breed standards of a west highland white terrier (Westie). Honestly, some people have said she looks like a very small Glen of Imaal terrier. Her tail and ears droop and she has no rough outer coat, so she's pretty soft. Also, she's longer and taller than a normal westie. She had a lot of worms, was not socialized with other dogs (although she was with humans), and now has diabeties; which is hereditary, so the breeder should have known.

that's what i hate about college too is not seeing my dogs and cat. but i started volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter so i get to play with a bunch of dogs and cats for free

Yeah, he put on a lot of weight for the role, and he has a hard time keeping it on (probably because its roids). I'm 6'4 also, but only 200lbs. He was 220lbs in the picture on the right.... def my goal body.
