i know nothing about the Elder Scrolls, but Pokemon is my shit. B/W should be played before B/W 2, since the latter are sequels to the former. while i haven't played the sequels yet (since they haven't been released to America yet and i won't play a non-english game) i can tell you that the gameplay will be very, very similar to the first ones, aside from a few new features such as utilizing the 3DS's Augmented Reality ability. but Black and White are epic to play if you can make peace with the shitty Pokemon designs. i highly recommend those games.
