Beans and veggies are filling and taste pretty good. Cous Cous and sweet potatoes are good alternatives to rice if you're like me and get tired of eating it constantly. Also, the spice rack is your best friend when it comes to keeping things interesting. Do I know what cumin is? No. Does it taste good? Yeah.

As far as meat goes, you can use just about anything. I mostly use chicken, but I also use pork and beef. You just have to make sure what you're using is lean. Any cut that has the suffix -loin is pretty lean. From there just cut off any remaining fat and cook it how you want. I like to grill mine then slice it up and portion it out over a couple of meals. 1.5 lbs is good for 6 days. With brown rice or quinoa that's a good portion.
Cod and tilapia are also good. Low in bad fats but high in omega 3 fatty acids.

As far as vegetables go, I usually go for carrots, snow peas and bell peppers. White potatoes are good too, but make sure they are white potatoes. Most other potatoes are close to 100% starch. White potatoes have loads of vitamins and minerals.

I have been but only for a couple weeks
Anyways the oh-so infallible /fit/ sticky says abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym and that abdominal exercise has very little to do with it
User avatar #31748 - donnybergerstory (05/27/2015) [-]
Well thats true. Diet is whats going to be the determining factor in getting abs. But you still need a low bf% and for the muscles to really be there. Some people store fat in different places, maybe you store yours in your stomach mostly.

yep pretty much, starting standing up straight and stretching, cut down on time spent sitting down

for me the pain random caused by movements and twisting though so it's probably different

Deadlifts are excellent for the posterior chain it will fix your posture and increase you're overall strength , And if u dont want to do deadlifts because you're scared you'l fuck up your form you can do bridges.
