You have to get that out of your head and focus on building a friendship first. It's okay to imagine dating a girl, but that shouldn't be your main focus or you risk making yourself too nervous to build the friendship that leads into a relationship.

In terms of talking with girls, you need to evaluate the personality of your target. Jokes are a great way to flirt with girls, but you need to be careful. A girl that I've been trying to woo laughs at Obama and religious jokes, but I wouldn't risk special needs or sex jokes (sex jokes should NEVER be used until you're in a relationship, it's creepy).

Asking fun questions is a great way to keep a conversation going, as people love to talk about themselves. Make sure you're specific though, so as to avoid half-assed answers. Example: "Do you like movies?" "Yes." vs "What's your favorite movie and why?" "The Room, because Tommy Wiseau reminds of my father who passed away fro mcancer five years ago leadign my mother to turn to prostitution to pay the bills."

Well perferably you'd be asking someone you already have a rapport with or know somehow. A friend of a friend or something.

You could always ask them if they want to do something and invite one or two of your friends as a wingman. Hell, you could even ask if she wants to bring anyone. If it seems like they had a good time, ask them out alone.

The thing I met the girl I like, through the internet. She approached me, and since then I havent talked 1 on 1 with any girl outside of my group of friends. So I really dont know how to do it. Before, I didnt pay much attention to girls or dating. But now the first thing I think when talking to a girl is dating her and such and that messes me up

Not to mention, he ended up back in time and became the progenitor of the saiyan race and the first (chronologically speaking) super saiyan.

Is that considered canon though?
User avatar #47 - greatgatsby (02/17/2015) [-]
Anything Dragon Ball that is not GT is cannon... as dumb as that time travel bs is
User avatar #57 - emiyashirou (02/17/2015) [-]
Most movies aren't canon. Also, Toriyama considers GT canon.
User avatar #63 - greatgatsby (02/17/2015) [-]
...really? I thought they canned all of GT to create another bunch of movies like Battle of the Gods and not worry about continuity.
#109 - anonymous (02/18/2015) [-]
I believe that It's technically not canon but they're doing all the new shit before GT and not scrapping it completely.
User avatar #48 - majordeadpool (02/17/2015) [-]
Depends if you follow the anime(which has a LOT of filler) or the manga, wouldnt that matter? The original storyline and such, or did that happen in the manga as well?
User avatar #50 - greatgatsby (02/17/2015) [-]
Bardock's time travel story wasn't filler, it was a special that they released after DBGT ended.

Also what are you talking about? Compared to other jump anime like Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece Dragon Ball had little to no filler. The battles just took a long time to get going.
User avatar #55 - majordeadpool (02/17/2015) [-]

I don't in any way condone Carly almost going through with cheating, but if she had, Jenny would have definitely said so. Specially after Carly snitched on her.
#139 - sesshii (01/20/2015) [-]
The fact that she could barely resist it(if she told Jenny a stright "no" the moment Jenny proposed to the cheating) it would be an enormous red light for me. These women, no matter how "good" they seem, can cheat the moment they feel like it. Women are biologically made to find the best mate and breed with him, the only women a man should marry is someone who has made up their moral conviction to themselves and their partner.
If you want to marry someone, make sure you know 100% of her, her childhood, how she thinks and feel, her parents and past. Everything. It may seem like stalking, but this is after all someone you are going to marry and maybe have kids with. If she has something traumatic in her childhood that has gone without therapy, don't put your dick in her until she has seen a professional.
