The are many ways to understand what it means to be Jewish. They are defined as a religion, a people, and sometimes a nation. The first thing of the matter is who they are as a people and what is this madness of them having some connection to Israel. Through genetic studies, we have found paternal and maternal similarities from Jewish communities around the world, all of which have the same Levantine (Eastern Mediterranean) genetic pattern. Archaeological evidence also supports the Judean/Israelite people emerged from that region instead of the common misconception that they are from a Sumerian tribe. The modern day religion of the Jewish people is one that has undergone much evolution. Through the worship of several deities, down to a husband and wife, down to the singular entity of God. Up until the destruction of the second Temple of God, they used sacrifice to worship God. After such, they developed the Rabbi, prayer, and synagogue way of worship as a way to worship while being without a Temple. Those who in modern times convert to the modern Judaism are regarded as just the same as any others who adhere to the Jewish religion. There are those that treat them as outsiders, but the vast majority considers it a great blessing. Never has there been a race qualification and there isn't such a thing as Rabbinical levels. A real Jew is any Jew that considers themself a Jew in any way, shape, or form.
