It truly happened. I was on a 5 day business trip to London in summer 2012 and took 1 day to do the tourist thing. Around London, 1/2 day bus trip to some of the spots outside the city.

Maybe..maybe but after being stopped on the street in London 4 times by British cops who demanded to know why a colonist, their words, was in the Empire and being called a "bloody tourist" by two of them. Then going in to a bathroom with a camera right outside the door. I was more than happy to leave jolly old England. As for beer, whiskey and steak, I like rich smooth beer like Alexander Keith, British beer is to heavy, Crown Royal is good whiskey and I don't have to spend a weeks pay on it, British beef just didn't taste right to me, can't say why but it just taste off.

Please don't compare us to England. We Canadians are better than that. We respect most points of view, our beer is cold, our whiskey smooth, our beef is thick (not served with mint, YUCK) and we have more than 2 words for junk food. Plus we don't shove security cameras in your face everywhere you go, like the English do.

respect more points of view i'll give you

my friend you have never tried british beer have you, i found one beer over here that is bearable and its made from mountain water other than that im drinking a english style beer called warthog which isnt too bad. Scottish and north english whiskeys are far better. i can get thick beef at home from the southern fields of england which is used in some of the highest class of restaurants in europe. I'd say second best to german beef.

ok the camera's i agree with in city centers, kinda like all city centers in modern cities. i live in the suburb of a large town/ small city and i cant think of one camera monitoring streets , only ones placed on private property mostly aimed at the entrances for security.

england gets alot of shit for no reason. we maybe not be as beautiful as canada's lands but all of your society is based of british ideals such as the health care system, and i think that is a pretty damn good ideal that your country has gained

Try the more northern parts of canada, if you're into scenery you will almost definitely blow several loads on the drive there alone.
