I think people who claim to be gender-fluid know it has nothing to do with themselves physically. It's just a gender identity, something to express yourself with on a blog or something, not something you put on a medical document.

I agree. They're classifying certain emotions and activities to genders ("I feel really angry today, must be a guy lol", "feeling romantic, chick it is") but in doing so are really just takiing a big step back in the 'social progress' that they're seeking by limiting what being in one gender means.
Or maybe I'm also misunderstanding the concept.
