Oh you know, just coming to the realization that no one really cares about their friends, or at least they eventually won't, because when they're older, they won't have time to care about anything but their family. So that kind of stomps on all my hopes and dreams.

That isn't how I want it to be. Sure I'd like to have acquaintances come and go, but I want friends that stay around my whole life.

Ever observe what happens to people who get a boy/girlfriend? They change. All of them. They would rather spend time with their SO. The only important thing in their mind is their SO, and later on for some, their kids. Friends are nothing but some secondary function. I don't matter to anyone but my mom and dad.

What kills me the most, is that if I ever get an SO, I'll be the same way.

We're still young though, it may not seem true just yet. But look at everyone who is older. Your mom and dad, every other adult couple.....how many friends do they have? How often do they see those friends? Chances are, 9 days out of 10, they don't. They come home from work and see nothing but their wife/husband and their kids. And they're okay with that. I'm not.

It's nice that some people our age still care. But everyone will stop eventually.

I don't know how high or low level you are, but maybe we could do something in RS sometime? It's been a long time since I've played and I'm still getting back in the swing of things; trying to learn what armor is best these days, how everything works, skill updates, etc. If I recall, dungeoneering was pretty fun to do as a group.

Yeah, runescape was pretty much my whole life when I was younger. I come back every now and then. It has been a long time for me to get these stats.

It was my life when I was younger too! But I had to start over two summers ago since I forgot my account information on my older one where I had a lot more done, so I decided to forget about quests for now and just get rich to get some of the newer armors and train and stuff :P
And considering it's about the time no good games really come out until Fall, I'll be playing it a lot more c:

Only game I'm even looking forward to this year is Rome 2. But that's not taking into account the million games I haven't played on steam :P

I don't really pay much attention to PC games, since I can't Steam because Macs, and I'd only end up regretting having one even more than I do already if I did keep track of PC releases X3

The magic's gone out of life for me recently, everything being stuck in a routine. I enjoy the show still, but it's just not got that kick to it for me anymore. Everything around the threads has fallen apart.

I'm still wishing the KF/L4D2 groups could get together one more time, but some of the people have disappeared.

My life is becoming too routine for my liking as well. What keeps me going is having some goals. I'm also taking a trip to see some good friends I made on the thread this new years. You gotta force yourself to do something cool or productive. I'm trying to work out and get fit, so that makes it better.
