That's just power play. Heads of powerful states can do a lot of carnage, company owners who buy drug licenses generally can't do as much.

Hitler wasn't responsible for 40 million deaths. He was just a charismatic face for the Reich, the true rule was done by his advisers. Plus, holding him accountable for every single Allied loss of life when Great Britain declared war on him first is just hogwash. He wanted the German areas of Poland, but ended up in a massive war. And assuming he was indeed in charge of all of Germany (which he wasn't), Germany still flourished under him, going from bankrupt dystopia to the most powerful nation in the world.

So Stalin somehow killed 40 million people without actually killing them? How did he do that? Famine? Disease? Doesn't work that way. He was a fair asshole, but then again, someone with immense power. The Soviet Union was built on the foundations he laid. Industrializing a country with an extreme ideology and under severe pressure from a war that cost 30 million lives (and no, his war tactics have been extremely exaggerated), tends to make some bodies. A douchebag, but there have been far worse. They just didn't rule over as many people, nor have the means.

You don't conquer almost all of Asia without leaving bodies. He was surprisingly tolerant, contrary to popular belief. He allowed for freedom of religion, and kept foreigners as advisers and government figures.

Thing is, the three did a lot of awful things, but they also did positive things. Shkreli just fucks up everywhere he goes. When you have a 100% asshole rating, it makes you a full-on asshole. If he's willing to make lives sour for people just to make some easy cash, what do you think would happen if he'd been in charge of some of the most powerful empires in the world?

He didn't create shit. Like I said, he was nothing but an image. He was an artist with a small passion for politics, but what he really wanted was fame. The Nazi party secured that he could attain power and wealth, he secured the people by being a decorated war hero who could captivate people by speeches. If we are to blame countries for not adhering to threats, every country would be to blame. You cannot maintain an economy in a large country by invading smaller countries. If that had been the case he'd need to invade far more countries, and take absolutely everything that wasn't bolted down. Most countries that Germany "plundered" experienced growth as well. Most of Germany's power was established by the time Czechoslovakia was invaded. That was long before the war when they truly waged war.

20 million out of the 30 million Soviets dead were civilians. You know why? Because unlike France, Norway and whatnot the Germans had orders to execute every single Russian they came across. The Soviet Union couldn't afford a loss at any cost, lest the enemy would be able to march on Moscow and kill even more civilians. The barrier at Stalingrad gave Moscow time to rally troops there, so the Wehrmacht could be repelled there and the Soviet counteroffensive could begin. You just said the purges weren't accounted for, so how exactly does it amount to 40 million dead? The zerg rush is just bullshit. It happened on occasion, usually in Stalingrad post-blitzkrieg, and after exhausting every other option. It was sit still and die, surrender and die, or charge in and cause some damage before you died. No country in WW2 was faced with a more difficult situation than the Soviets (apart from Poland, but they outright got wiped), so drastic measures were taken. As far as statistics go, Axis forces lost 4.5 million soldiers in battle, the Soviets lost 7. Considering the blitzkrieg, the superior German technology, and their superior training, the whole zerg rush thing is simply debunked by the effectiveness of the Red Army.

Genghis wasn't worse than anyone else, he was just better. It's like saying white people are the most cruel people in the world because we were big at imperialism and slavery. It's a matter of effectiveness. No other army was able to wipe others off the face of the planet as easily as the Mongol horde, so he far exceeds what others could do. When you consider how many millions of people he ruled over, that exaggerated 40 million doesn't become so large when his life was mostly fueled by war. Don't make the mistake of applying today's ethics and morals to people in the past; by that standard, nobody has ever been good, and nobody is good today as the world will change in the future. War wasn't unusual back then, and the treatment Genghis gave to the people he conquered wasn't worse than what others gave.

Again, it's a matter of what you do with your power. The Obama administration has gotten far more people killed than every single serial killer in US history, yet they aren't seen as bad. They bring good things and bad things. Shkreli just brings bad, and fortunately he's just a greedy corporate asshole. But what little power he has, he abuses.
