You've probably only heard the ones that they play on the radio. Also, Rolling in the Deep is nothing like modern pop, it's a throwback to 70s diva pop.

rolling in the deep is the same four chords as every other pop song. Seriously there are way more original and creative artists.

The idea that a dragon is a powerful being is and should be respected and feared is the point though. In dark souls i was afraid to fight the dragon because i knew it would destroy me. In skyrim they are pretty pathetic compared to the darksouls dragons. lets assume alduin = kalameet in this instance. Alduin is pretty easy just time consuming where as kalameet is a danger to any player no matter what level that player is.

you do know that nearly EVER CULTURE SINCE THE DAWN OF MANKIND has had a dragon in its beliefs in one form or another. All of those dragons have been relatively the same with some exceptions.

whatever this is the most retarded argument. I am saying that there no such thing as a valid dragon or an invalid dragon. They don't exist either way. Each dragon portrayed in the two games is a subjective invention of the creators of the game. If everything in each game were the exact same then they would be the same game. What, then, would be the point of having two separate games?

skyrim dragons are pussies compared to dark souls dragons. fact.

Or dark souls characters are pussies compared to Skyrim characters.
User avatar #236 - drainbramage (04/24/2013) [-]
There are only 3 dragons in Dark Souls and none of them breath fire, only 2 are hostile. The rest are drakes (unless you count undead dragons, which I don't. They have no use of their legs or wings.)

Hellkite Dragon on the bridge breathes fire
Seeth the Scaleless breathes crystals that curse/petrify you
Gaping Dragon... uh... he um... drools on the ground

oh and there are no other dragons because Gwynn and Seeth and Nito n shit killed them all
Demon's Souls had some beastly fucking dragons too

Alduin has the same script as every other dragon except you need to use a special call to make him vulnerable, and the call is useless everywhere else. All it does is add a timer to the Alduin fight... as in a minimum time, not a "kill him by x:xx or die"
he was one of the most disappointing bosses I've experienced in a video game
#323 - drainbramage (04/24/2013) [-]
The hellkite dragon was a drake. Seathe and Gaping dragon were the dragons I was talking about, the 3rd dragon is the Everlasting dragon in Ash Lake. I know almost everything about Dark Souls and it's lore. The dragons may not have been alive, they could have been undead, their scales of immortality kept them alive and that's why Gwyn took them off and Seathe betrayed the dragons, I like to think that the scales work similar to the ways that bonfires work.

I agree with you on Alduin, the first dragon that you have to kill is harder than Alduin, in one of my playthroughs I just sat back and watched the heroes of Sovengarde go to town on him. You don't have to do a goddamn thing.

I'm not defending either types of dragons. I'm just saying why compare them if they don't even exist irl and are only a product of a game maker. No shit they are going to be different.
