Airbenders are able to warm themselves using breathing techniques. The techniques Zuko uses when he gets out of the water in the Northern water tribe are airbender based.

This is why Aang is shown in his regular clothes when he is at the pole area's.

not sure why you're getting thumbed down, that's exactly what happened. According to the wikia it says as much in Legend of korra Season 2 episode 7. avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Airbending#cite_note-OA-23, see heat regulation and source number 24.

Albeit the zuko's body temperature control being based on air bending is a bit inferred, it's a reasonable thing to think since the body temperature control was a technique developed by Iroh who studied all the bending styles.

I mean he learned that technique from Iroh, who studied other benders.

In the way redirecting lightning was mirrored from waterbenders.
