trump is not much worse than the other candidates, which is the worst part of this. personally, I wish we could just opt out of this whole thing. send all the candidates to sit the fuck down so we can find somebody half-way competent for once. there's an option on the presidential ballot in most states for "none of the above". If that option wins the popular vote, then all new candidates will be selected and the voting process will start again. unfortunately, it won't actually work because the electoral college will just do whatever the fuck they want as always. our system is broke as fuck. this is suppose to be a democracy where all citizens have a way to decide how they are governed, but every way we could possibly do that has been taken from us.
