though everytime someone who isnt a greedy asshole comes onto the poll, the media either slaughters him or the votes get rigged and some dumbass gets picked regardless.
it's not entirely under our control who gets picked, and half the time no one knows what the hell is going on becuase the media drowns it out.

No sir, I've never read any of those books. I don't even listen to conspiracy radio, either.

The U.N. is corrupt. It's resolutions are (to knowledge) non-binding. Their "peacekeeping" normally consists of sitting on their asses and taking kickbacks while somebody gets their hands cut off because they didn't want to dig up diamonds.

They've also got a pretty nice human rights record (inaction). I want you to look these up…

Unless you have a good plan for regime change in China, you can't reunify the Korean Peninsula. An added bonus of the current Chinese government "vanishing" would be the erasure of The Debt.

i doubt china would care about the human rights aspect anyway.
they dont exactly have a clean record themselves.

Yea you're right, Human rights is the last thing China cares about.

Good thing we have such euphoric atheist to protect people from a phony god.
Oh, and you dropped this.

The fact that there's such a huge backlash against the decline of religion shows that there's a decline. Don't worry it won't happen.
User avatar #10 - azraelthemage (12/10/2013) [-]
It's unconstitutional to do so. There are numerous Supreme Court cases on the subject.
User avatar #103 - snowshark (12/11/2013) [-]
And? They can just amend the constitution. It's happened before. If the religo-nuts have their way nothing will be sacred... ironically.
User avatar #104 - Mastervaughn (12/11/2013) [-]
its about impossible to do so too, as it can the amendment can be called unconstitutional and therefore be voided, theyd have to take out the surpreme court entirely... which would be a huge grab in power, and one that would have huge consequences too.
User avatar #106 - snowshark (12/11/2013) [-]
Look at the US today, the violent, militant people are mostly on the christian side. If this was put in place the majority of the opposition would not be able to contend, there would be a rift down the middle which would more than likely either drive the populace out of the country, leaving only the idiots/poor people, or another Civil War will start brewing (though wether it actually takes place or not is another thing entirely).

It's not impossible, it is just improbably stupid... though then again, you've got to wonder if you need to be smart to see how stupid that would be and if those senators are past that level or not?
