And that, friend, is entitlement. "I want it to be this way, so anyone who disagrees with how I get my kicks is wrong. What I like is right."

There's such a thing as picking appropriate targets for comedy. Low-hanging fruit, going after the small group who's already being kicked around? That's not comedy.

How is what you're doing not the same or worse.

What I'm saying: Everyone's allowed to think things are funny and if they don't, be a grownup and move on.
What you're saying: Certain types of humor are "wrong" and shouldn't be considered comedy.

You tell me who's more accepting and who's the close-minded one.

Cosplay's an art, and wearing a stretchy outfit when you have big tits is the cosplay equivilant of drawing a stick figure

Depends on how it's done, really. There are characters that do wear skintight clothes... like Donna Parker (pic related) and Power Girl and cosplaying them any other way would be stupid.

you didn't post a pic, and yes I am aware, but there's a major reason why bimbos choose to go as zero suit samus and not Samus in Power Armor. the ones that do though... mf

Posted in the post below cause something derped. Also, I think that's a bit judgementaal of a statement. I would think MOST of the chicks (at least it's tru for the many people I've met) who go as ZSSamus instead of full suit have MANY reasons, including heat (AZ here,) cost, and most people, even damn good and experienced cosplayers can't make something THAT hard to make. Yeah, that's just one example, but even for those that cosplay the "slutty" characters like Power Girl... A lot of time it's because they genuinely like that character. Showing off their body is just a side bonus.

Honestly, I don't get all the bitching. Nothing is going to change anyway. Also, if you put this kind of stuff in NSFW, there's plenty of people who wouldn't end up seeing it. I have no interest in the nsfw section, but I like good cosplays.

I don't care if I come under attack. It's when my friends get isolated and suffer as a result, having the very reason they came here taken away from them for shits and giggles. I feel like nobody here understands how biased and hypocritical you are. Seriously.

#51 - dharkmoswen (05/06/2016) [-]
Fuck you! I work hard every day to be genuine, open, and accepting so as to NOT be hypocritical.
The post is a damn good cosplay. Of a character from a video game. It belongs here and just because pricks like you can't look past the sexuality of it doesn't mean the rest of us are that way. Yeah, there's some people being hypocritical, but don't you DARE lump everyone together like that. There is no actual nudity here, and while some people may like this for pervy reasons, there are plenty of us who just like this because it's a daamn good cosplay, so fuck of with your assumptions.

What you don't get is that, who's being attacked here? The guy calling someone out on what they did. Who's getting angry? Who's being a little bitch and harassing someone because they don't like the same thing as them? Who is continuing to attack their every statement in an excessively hostile and defensive way? Now I get your avatar. You're just a trigger happy bitch eager to go off on, accuse, and otherwise pester anyone. Constantly. Think about it, I voiced my concern over an issue. I get harassed and bitched at, told I'm in the wrong, when my boss uses this site, and normally has no problems with it. You say you're "accepting", yet when I say I don't like what my well endowed daddy is doing, you spend half the day attacking my comments? My views? My opinions? You are a hypocrite. Face it. that's exactly what you are. You take things too far. I'm sick of the bulshit this site is so full of. "making the site more family friendly" my ass my well endowed daddy. You can't look past that though can you, bitch cannon? All you see is an opportunity to go ballistic on others. This isn't SJW bullshit, this is personal. This is because my well endowed daddy was giving one of my friends a hard time, and deleting more than half of his content even when he followed all of the rules. This is what I meant by everyone being more willing to side with my well endowed daddy than acknowledge that there is a problem here. I hate this trend. This idea that being different is wrong. "Normies", "autists" bullshit like that. What's worse? my well endowed daddy had been taking down Undertale posts exclusively, and now, he uses ASRIEL FROM UNDERTALE as his personal avatar. Again, hypocrisy. And you defend it. You sir or madam, are the real problem here.

There's no point in talking to you. I tried pointing out where you could have a bit more responsibility in your own actions and made it clear I don't give a shit about what other people are doing, but no..... you just have to focus on how you're being made the victim. I didn't spend more than 15 minutes out of my day messaging you, not "half a day." You attempt what I can only assume around the rambling is an attack on my avatar, which I have because I am a fan of the series. You don't belong here. This site would be better without people like you who just see themselves being the victim everywhere. We're done here. You won't listen to a word anyone says. Shoo, child.

Child? I've been perfectly calm here. I'm not the victim here, just the one standing up for him. You are an absolute asshole, who refuses to see where you went wrong, went off on a rant, and brought my hatred upon yourself.

You really are a moron sometimes. "break or not" really? You saying you never dick around on your phone at work? Really? Again, I am sick of people throwing themselves at my well endowed daddy and ignoring everyone else. You don't even seem to listen to what the problem is in the first place. The problem is that my well endowed daddy is doing exactly what he's been punishing chavlosk for doing. It's bullshit and you all know that. You've all likely had someone pull this kind of double standard crap on you?

#52 - dharkmoswen (05/06/2016) [-]
I have no say over what thoe people do, so why am I being lumped in with them? That aside, this is a damn good cosplay. It belongs in this channel and I'm not getting involved in the stupid spat going on.
And yes, break or not. Of course, I get on my phone when I'm at break on work. Of course I don't go on facebook or funnyjunk while I'm in ANY professional environment due to the content they host. I actually have respect for the place I work and the people I work with. How about instead of blaming the site, you have some responsibility for how you browse.
User avatar
#54 - kiedekka (05/06/2016) [-]
Because of the fact that on a "family friendly site" which is my only connection to certain friends was the main reason I come to this place. Not to put up with judgemental pricks like you. If you didn't want to get called out, you shouldn't be making assumptions about who I work with, where I work, and my motivations for doing the things that I do.
User avatar
#56 - dharkmoswen (05/06/2016) [-]
I said absolutely nothing about the place you work, except that you shouldn't be on FJ while there. Don't put words in my mouth.
Also, when did any "family friendly" sites come into the conversation? I was talking about Funnyjunk... you know, the VERY not family friendly site that your were on at work. The site that hosts morbid/gore and porn? Yeah... SUCH a family friendly site.

Pretty much yeah, I don't hold it against her, I don't say it is a bad cosplay because of it, her costume is flawless. But if you are going to attempt a cosplay you that lack the physical features to pull off 100% then you should be ready to accept the criticism on those features no matter, how good your costume, because it will happen. I am just giving my honest opinion about it, and it is very good (it is just a liiiiiitle bit off and that is certainly forgivable).
