Hmm, I don't exactly see paying for border control on this list of what is defined as racism...
>bullying
What are you, fucking gay? That's just as bad as saying "I'm not voting for Trump because he's a meanie" which you are
And, because you can't read, I specifically pointed out the code that lets the President stop entry of ANY CLASS of people into the U.S.
I never said that your opinion was invalid, all I said that using the fact that "all politicians lie" only on Trump is fucking retarded.
>talking about obvious lies as truth
What, like free college and healthcare? Even if we taxed the 1% one hundred percent of their income, we could only afford free college for 3 years. Stopping military spending only increases that by 2 years. How is taxing everyone 10-15% more going to pay for free college and healthcare?

Yes, I am refusing to vote for Trump because he's "a meanie," or rather, because I believe he's a cruel man and cruel men should never be given power.
I know what the code says. The President also has the legal right to declare open war. Right and Should are two very different things. He has every right to ban anyone from the USA. He shouldn't due to estranged political relations. That's besides the point anyway. I didn't ask if he could or should. I said HOW.
As far as obvious lies as truth being the people who have said Trump "can't lie" or that he's got what's best for America as his only concern and that he doesn't even think of his own welfare. These are stupid statements, I'm sure you can agree, and I have heard them all too often.
As far as taxing everyone more to pay for education and healthcare, these aren't things Trump has said anything about to my knowledge. Where are you getting this? It sounds more like something Bernie said.
#152 - anon (03/26/2016) [-]
The problem I have with anti-Trump people is just that they judge Trump using misinformation for example, thinking that he said all Muslims should wear special identification like Jews in Nazi Germany. He never said that , or have no basis against him other than "he's a racist/xenophobe/Islamophobe/[buzzword]"
I agree, but what you said earlier was that he couldn't do that. I never said that he should, only that it is possible and he has legal precedent to do so.
And yes, that's what Bernie has said. Getting free college or higher-level education, whatever is a blatant false-promise.

Oh, I only use facts and my opinion of his character, which comes from his years as a business mogul.
My personal feelings aside, the man, in his own words, "Plays the laws" for his own gain, he's had MULTIPLE bankruptcies, and I do not like his foreign policies.
I didn't realize I mis-spoke. I apologize for that. Yes, he can, I don't believe he should.
As far as free college goes? I believe it is possible, however, it is unlikely. It's not a blatant false-promise, but I do believe if he win, he likely will fail on it.

You must ride the short bus.
Building a wall to stop illegal aliens (which is apparently racist, to you) from crossing the border is effective. See Israel and Hungary. Not only that, but illegal aliens cost us $+500 billion dollars annually, while only bringing in $4-5 billion per year.
>Yeah, because there's a way to do that

That's the fucking worst argument ever, holy shit. Why does this apply only to Trump, and not Cruz or Sanders?
By the way, why ask for people's opinions for Trump if you're not going to listen and be hostile?
User avatar
#136 - dharkmoswen (03/26/2016) [-]
And seriously? A wall is going to stop illegal immigrants. The fences don't. The laws don't. The armed guards don't. How is a wall going to make any change?

User avatar

When the wall was built. Yes, because that's the only change that took place. Come on, you're obviously smarter than that. They also cracked down much harder on checkpoints, added more checkpoints, etc. That would heavily reduce illegal immigration, I won't deny that.
User avatar
#134 - dharkmoswen (03/26/2016) [-]
How is it not racist? As far as I am aware, make Mexico pay for it implies that they don't want to, and that makes it either bullying or racist. You pick. The immigration system itself is racist. I've assisted people in getting their citizenship test before and it's absolute bullshit.
There's not a way for him to keep Muslims out. How? You can't keep all foreigners from one area/location out without straining relations with that country, and other than that, they can just deny that they are Muslim. Either way, we get no immigration from the area at all and just get muslims from elsewhere, or we get muslims who have no problem lying to the people who they want to kill.
Trump is just a worse liar, imo. Your opinion is all voting is about. Who do you think would be the best candidate in your opinion. That's who you vote for. So no, my opinion on the man is not an invalid reason.
I have been very patient with people who actually made a lick of sense. Of course, when people start talking about obvious lies as truth, or saying that we can just bully other countries into accepting things, that's when I get abrasive because people who believe those things should not be allowed to vote. I know I don't have the whole picture, and I don't expect people to change their vote on my account, but how is what I am doing any different than what anyone else here who has called me an idiot for my opinions? There have been multiple people on posts that vote for Trump for various reasons, such as "he's the only one who actually puts his shit on the table" and while I disagree and will voice my opinion against, I don't speak ill of them.
#137 - anon (03/26/2016) [-]

We can literally afford to pay for the wall ourselves. Illegal immigration costs 113 billion per year, the wall only costs 10. He Might actually be able to make Mexico pay for it though. It's all about trade and deal making. It would also force Mexico to learn some fucking respect. He wanted a temporary ban so that we could prevent more terrorists attacks that have been spreading, like in Paris and Brussels, even here at home like in Boston.

Trump does something that allows him to not lose political non factual debates and conversations but not lie, and that's by keeping on the points and not giving people political leverage. It's an incredible psychological technique. Besides, as you said, he is no more a liar than anybody else so why is this even an argument?

I HAVE lived in other countries. I've studied world economics, and America has some SERIOUS problems right now. Especially economically. What we need is a leader who is going to make the world respect the United States again. Because we have become a l laughing stock to the world. We need to remind them who is in charge here. Leader of the free world. Economic growth and lowered costs are the key. And that's exactly what Trump is proposing.

Enough with your bullshit.

The man has already shown himself untrustworthy in the past.
You also speak as if we need to force other countries how great we are. Are you as much a moron and a bully as Trump?! Are you really going to pull the same bullshit I've heard other people say about "we have the biggest military, what are they going to do?"

No, I don't need people to reaffirm my bias. Trump already did that and he continues to do so. I'm done with you. Go waste your votes if you wish, but I reserve the right to say you should have listened once the world hates us worse than they already do.

Trump wants to stop illegal immigration, ILLEGAL
He wants to defeat ISIS and why the fuck shouldn't we? We need to knock them out.
He tells people what he feels, he doesn't lie, maybe he can't lie, it's his double edged sword
I recognize it because I'm exactly the same way. Blatant honesty.
That's why he gets himself into so much trouble with the media.
Trump competes. He wins. That's what America needs. Because China will overtake us (and the world) unless the sleeping giant gets off it's ass and starts thriving again.
America has become weak, the American dream is dead, we need to bring it back again.

If Hillary wins the election, she will install her people, probably liberal, make everything wrong with the country even worst and this country will never be the fucking same.
User avatar
#118 - dharkmoswen (03/26/2016) [-]
He wants to stop illegal immigration? Fine. Actually do something about it. Don't pull this racist crap with trying to make Mexico pay for a wall to keep them out. That's like telling a guy he has to pay to shut down his favorite store. Oh and about the Muslims thing? Yeah, because there's a way to do that.... Keep people out that look muslim? Doesn't work when you have to keep out every middle easterner and there are muslims who don't look middle eastern.
If you don't believe he can lie, then you are a moron. Every politician and business leader lies. People lie. There's not a single adult out there who doesn't lie (not including the mentally handicapped who are incapable of it.)
As far as this Trump competes philosophy, yes, he does. We don't need a President who is going to estrange us even more when our relations with other countries are already on thin ice.
If you think the American dream is sso dead, why don't you go try to live in another country for a year or so. We still have it better than anyone else out there and part of the reason foreigners hate us is that we're squandering that opportunity, so how about you get some education and make use of it. THAT is how we are going to make America great again.

Let's assume all of what you said is true, though, even though I don't believe a word of it regarding Trump. Hillary is horrible. We all agree on that.
Let's just look at one fact. The man in his own words "plays the laws" to his own benefit. If you can vote for that, you are a moron.

less chances I'm getting killed on the streets or live with a bunch of idiots whose votes count as much as mine

You'd wish everyone's votes were equal. Somehow a citizen of backwater states like Iowa's vote has more say than a Californian's or New Yorker's in their broken, undemocratic election procedure. The illusion of freedom and rights is almost comical if not for how dire the consequences are for the world.

That's still focusing on the general populace. The reasons may be selfish and there's no problem with that. Even love is selfish.
