amuzen (01/05/2016) [-] Guy thinks that throwing up a colossal wall between the US and Mexico will solve the illegal immigrant problem completely for one. Outside that you can't really say any of his ideas are bad or unlikely to work because he doesn't HAVE any idea of how he's going to go about doing anything, just a bunch of hyped up slogans and catch phrases about how he's going to 'make america great again' and get rid of all it's problems with absolutely no proposed strategies of how he's going to go about doing that. Worst case scenario he just tries to iron over these issues with no finesse or forethought for other peoples situations and creates a million more problems. For example, he says he intends to get rid of Obama care, but he has absolutely no idea what he's going to do after that. Obama care was a haphazardly placed band aid on an open wound and I agree we're going to have to rip that band aid off to treat the wound, but before we go there we need some sort idea of HOW we're going to treat that wound. His personal history looks terrible. Guy's filed for bankruptcy four times claiming they were mistakes on his part which either means he fucking sucks at business unlikely or he has absolutely no qualms with abusing the system for personal gain and lying about it after the fact. Neither look very good for someone running the country. Not to mention he's got no political skills whatsoever with his particular brand of following being more akin to a TV stars fan base where they just act as loud and controversial as possible than a traditional politicians following. (if 13 year old girls could vote we might as well put Justin beiber in charge at this rate) This whole thing of him not being a traditional politician seems great on the outside since it's a big change from what we've had thus far and something obviously has to change but it's a terrible idea because other countries are going to look at him as a joke more than anything else and America will lose almost all of it's credibility. Combine his lack of politicial finesse with the void that is his understanding of government infrastructure and he's likely to be next to worthless when it actually comes to getting anything done. The president isn't some magical dictator that waves and wand changes the way things work, he has to involve himself in a long complicated process that involves sorting through a series of compromises that will make 320 million people happy. A process that Trump has no patience for and a concept that he has no understanding of. Trump's a joke and the only reason he might get voted in is because people hate Hilary clinton and Bernie sanders for siding with the borderline insane progressive elements that are starting to reveal their insidious nature throughout the US.  He's egotistical, meaning he thinks he can become president and run the country by himself, every president soon discovers that running a country of 326 million people requires help from other better qualified people, Trump has never worked in Government and now suddenly thinks he's suited to take the highest position? a country is not a company, his severe lack of experience combined with a huge ego equals a deadly explosion waiting to happen. The best candidate is the one who would stand up and say he's best qualified at the table but still realize that he doesn't know what is best for 326 million people, the US needs a president that supports freedom and democracy, not a sociopathic retard in a suit that think he knows best. I did, you can take it or leave it, his lack of empathy and huge view of himself is his downfall. He's anti-freedom, like his stance on abortion, he's pro "life" meaning a womans choice to remove a (for all intents and purposes) parasite from her own body is not hers to make and should be banned. And he thinks Climate change is a joke, a hoax, like how fucking stupid seriously. Please, give me a good reason why his other good policies (like legalization and oppose minimum wage) somehow fix his terrible dangerous policies.  every candidate has some bad ideals, the dem side is even worse but trumps other policies and actions he wants to make far outweigh his bad ideas climate change is largely a joke now, much has been done to conform to using clean energy plus, blame china and india for that, they are the most polluted places on the planet and do nothing to change that "they are polluting more so we can pollute like crazy as long as we don't reach their level" that is some solid logic there mate. I know every candidate has somehting bad but Trump is by far, in my opinion, the most dangerous, he's a populist which builds on the fears of the american people "Ban muslims" "build a giant wall between USA and Mexico" these aren't reasonable requests, they're moronic and do way more harm than good, but he get's support because people are scared, and i understand that, islamic terrorism is a legit threat and needs to be taken seriously and so is transfer of funds from US to say Mexico, but illegal immigrants working and staying in a country is healthy for a economy, ask any good economist. Climate change a joke? u srs? almost every non-biased scientific study is no longer talking about climate change as being real or not because is so fucking obviously real, they are talking about what needs to be done to prevent a catastrophic event, how we can prolong the inevitable, Elon Musk has the right idea, he would probably make a fine president one day. #83 -
