Who the fuck pays ten dollars a pack? I don't smoke, but I do sell the damn things. The most expensive they get is 6.75.

I'm not counting for countries outside the US. You guys have different minimum wadges and standard's of living.

Pure honesty? A mix of disappointment and pity, same way I feel when I sell lotto tickets and scratchers. Though at least gambling doesn't slowly kill you.

a shit ton of my friends have gotten into smoking recently, and honestly, the amount of smokers in the town of one of my top colleges is making me not want to go. i visited this summer and it was repulsive.
My ex girlfriend is now a smoker because she's dating one of my friends (not friends now) (who got kicked out school for stealing shit from everybody, including my fucking house keys) who is a heavy smoker.

My friends mother has always been a smoker, and her health is just pitiful. growing up around her made me never wanna touch them, i just have a huge disdain for them at this point.

Speaking of gambling. Just watched a guy blow through a good fifteen lotto tickets without a winner.

Yeah, when you sell two-three packs to a guy every day or so, who has this nasty wet cough every time you come in, it tends to grate on you. Makes you wonder when they are suddenly going to not be coming in anymore.

here in Aus, because the government's idea of fixing things is to slap a tax on it, even cheap cigarettes are at least $16-18 per pack (about $15 by U.S.) currency. This is probably why cigarette smuggling is still a thing here.

My station and the rest of my rea and the other citys around there on average $10. Mine are $9.65
