nah its pretty much the american answer to Katawa Shoujo, heavily inspired by KS because the creator is a big fan.

Its going to take place at a school in Boston
I'm pretty excited about it, just to get a similar experience to KS would be fantastic

You just stole my heart.

Unfortunately, there's a popular subs place in my town known as Driftwood, so whenever I hear that name, I immediately get hungry.

Yes, thank you for being the first person to understand what I'm talking about You wouldn't believe how many people thought I was talking about the people who are fooled into believing this crap.

In this situation I like to say, ironically, to love the sinner and hate the sin. I don't hate most of you people who believe, I hate the fact that your beautiful minds are poisoned by these evil thoughts implanted in them. I hate the beliefs themselves, bigoted and blind as they are. When I criticize your faith it is not an attack on you, I am trying to open your eyes and show you the world from my perspective, to show you how silly and blind these beliefs have caused you to become. But almost no believer I have met understands that, they take it as an assault on them as a person.

ah, I hear ya, I just wanted to ask that question before I bit any heads off. A lot of people here on FJ seem to think I'm an asshole simply because I don't take shit from people. Then again, I do have an ego to match the Christian God's, so maybe that's a part of it
User avatar #71 - thereoncewasaman (08/24/2013) [-]
Haha that's not an ego that can be contained in this reality.
#72 - asheskirata (08/24/2013) [-]
Of course it is, because it doesn't actually interact with this reality itself. It interacts with reality through me. But now we're getting into all that metaphysics shit and that's just where everything gets weird. Lol
User avatar #74 - thereoncewasaman (08/24/2013) [-]
I meant it more as a joke (you equated your ego to god's, god has a giant ego but doesn't exist so he isn't a part of reality) but I feel where you are going with that and I like it.
User avatar #75 - asheskirata (08/24/2013) [-]
The human ego is God. Therefore the human mind is God. Therefore WE ARE GOD! Who'd have thought that? Seriously, you look at history and you notice that all of the Gods were created to have the mentality of a 5 year old who just broke his favorite toy.

Okay, I'm sorry, that's what popped into my head, damn T.V.
Anyways, I normally try to start with getting them to realize the literal reason for why they're religious, being their upbringing. Their parents teaching them as they were taught, and their school peers being taught the same thing. I've met a few extremely ignorant ones who said everything they could think of so as to not listen to me rationally, but some listened and thought about it.
Personally, I've always been surprised that religions are actually believed at all now. I realized it was bullshit when I was 10 or 11, and dropped Christianity immediately, just shortly after Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.

#41 - destismad (08/24/2013) [-]
I'm pretty sure you're talking about the religions themselves being evil, not necessarily the worshipers, right? I know there are many horrible religious people, like Westboro Baptist Church goers and such, but not all of them are like that.

I can't really decide, for me, I found both of their literal endings (Shizune's musketeer cheer and Rin's hilltop meadow) amazing. I'm personally more fond of Rin but just considering their endings, I can't choose a favorite. My favorite of the 5 though is either Hanako or Emi. I find that damn-near impossible to decide between.

I just noticed you have atheism in your name.
So are you the one who made the post? I figured you just found it somewhere.
#28 to #27 - destismad (11/19/2013) [-]
I'm also an atheist, as such I'd prefer you approach this intelligently, and not like the average 11 or 12 year old now-a-days who think they're all badasses. What, did you think that sonic thing was cool or something? And you don't expect people in your school to hear about it? You get upset because someone in your class was showing it to people? Even in the post you named the person, instead of ignoring him. I can't possibly imagine you being older than 13. You're simply to childish.
I'd love to talk longer, but I happen to have to leave now.
#37 to #28 - cabbagemayhem (06/27/2014) [-]
Your mistake was in thinking atheism has anything to do with intelligence. It only has to do with arrogance. What are you doing out of **** ?
#39 to #37 - destismad (06/27/2014) [-]
In addition: this was over a half a year ago, many people wouldn't even reply to someone who commented on something this old or older, or at least not seriously. I'm not saying it was somehow a bad or terribly stupid thing to do, but it was more likely to be pointless and a waste of time rather than this particular occasion. However, I like to reply to things I believe are or might be worth replying to, as in not being a fruitless endeavor or utter waste of time.
#38 to #37 - destismad (06/27/2014) [-]
Anyone can be arrogant, including religious and non-religious people, regardless of whether they agnostic or not. In order to truly and firmly deny religion, one must be able to think rationally and sensibly. Basically, the better one is with critical thinking, the more likely they will be non-religious. A higher IQ leads to a higher possibility of atheism, look it up (if you do decide to research it, make sure you find at least a single published site, but it'd be best to find 3).
What am I doing out of **** ? Ummm, looking at funny/interesting content, like I am now. I hope you don't think FunnyJunk is a porn site with some comics on the side.
#40 to #38 - cabbagemayhem (06/27/2014) [-]
After asking what you're doing out of **** , you hope I don't think FJ is a porn site with comics on the side? I think you missed my point. That's what I hope you don't think.

There's that arrogance. You think a correlation between IQ and religious beliefs means something. High IQ people are often indistinguishable from the least. They succumb to the same faulty thinking and fail to see the forest for the trees, and in their complacence often lead a sad life. IQ is a weak indicator of intelligence, I'm sure you at least know that. Instead, look for a correlation between beliefs and well-adjusted people. If self-proclaimed intellectuals could see the way they act from someone else's point of view, most of them would slap themselves. So, go ahead tell me how smart they really are?

I have chosen this thread at the top of your profile to address your prejudice beliefs, it shall be written to.

#22 to #21 - destismad (09/09/2013) [-]
The thumbs are there for the people of Fj to vote. It's not a necessity to vote up or down for any reason. I simply didn't think it funny. Besides, there have already been quite a few of those uploaded recently. I'm more prone to green thumb people who make compilations of memes or who make their own original ones and upload them, so they at least do some work other than just saving a picture to a file or picking it right from another website and uploading it later. With this community, it's just to easy to get to frontpage that way, and I don't like it.
