You ask what to do next--in my opinion, I like to stay away from the pony thread. People there are the quintissential bronies, but I don't like the chatroom esque discussion. IMO If I'm on funnyjunk I want to see pics and stuff, I don't want to talk with people about ponies. But that's a personal thing.
Just make sure you don't post ponies outside of the ponytime channel, because people generally eat you alive. Aside from that, just keep watching the show. It's fun. It's a good show.
Also music is amazing. You can find any of it by simple browsing on youtube. My personal favorite, already said, is simgretina. youtube.com/user/simgretina.
