anon (01/11/2016) [-] No, they aren't living beings in the Star Wars universe. Droids are built by human hands, they can be disassembled by human hands. It's not like they put in the memory core and then suddenly forget how they just did it. To say otherwise would be to retcon a ton of stuff and frankly still wouldn't make any damn sense. It's ok. The movie has flaws, just accept it.
