"Substitute (Japanese: みがわり Scapegoat) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM50 in Generation I before losing its TM status in Generation II. It regained its TM status, albeit as TM90, in Generation IV onwards" You and your friends are just ignorant, is all.

I googled it and copy-pasted what it said on Bulbapedia to prove it, instead of just saying "It existed back in Gen 1, google it". No need to be so hostile, jerkoff.

Personally I don't think Its genetic or a choice, but probably either a chemical difference in the brain, or something similar to Left/right handed people, where even though you can change hands you're still permanently left/right brain dominant.

Same deal- that research is not concluded- if you read it there is no data or conclusion, only a description of how they plan to test their theory. The paper ends with a prediction paragraph where they state what they believe will happen.

Oh well, but I still think that this (or something similar) has a lot more chances of being right than homosexuality being a choice. Btw where did you get this quote from: “This can be tested and proven within six months. It's easy to test. If it's a bad idea, we can throw it away in short order."? I found the opposite in this article: www.the-scientist.com/?articles.view/articleNo/33773/title/Can-Epigenetics-Explain-Homosexuality-/ "Scientists propose a new model for how homosexuality develops, but observers say it will be difficult to test.".

They haven't even tested it yet. They specifically state that “This can be tested and proven within six months. It's easy to test. If it's a bad idea, we can throw it away in short order." Its past six months, I think we would have heard something if they found something.
