Yeah that level is pretty tough, a shame my internet went down before i fought The old Monk, i had no idea that it was Online PvP based and i just beat it without knowing what a glorious challenge it could have been.

King Allant is from Demon's souls not DaS II if that's what you are worried about.

Yeah i haven't finished Dark souls II either so i don't know myself what the king in Drangleic looks like.
I wouldn't spoil a game that literally came out a week ago.

Man, you'll get there eventually. It's King Vendrick of Drangleic not Allant

The person may not have even thought about that because they didn't account for the kind of people that want invincibility shields.

Think about what the point of a hypothetical question is, to be a tough choice that's fun to ponder. If you can have it both ways regardless of what universe you choose, then the choice is not tough. Let's say you really like Star Wars, where you wouldn't be able to truly transform back into your original sex. So, then, because that limitation exists, you have to either be willing to change sex, or think about whether you wouldn't be happier in another universe. If you can just imagine a version of Star Wars where Force-magic can change your sex at-will, then there's no downside. Game ruined.

First thing, the sex change is a possible up-side, not really a downside.
Second thing, what if I write a book and publish it of my own dream universe? Can I go to that one? Choosing a pre existing universe lacks imagination. I find it much more entertaining to modify a universe or create your own. and that's my choice. If your choice is to choose a pre existing universe so be it.

No, it's not different, it's exactly the same. You, and everybody else using your same retarded logic, are eliminating the difficulty, and thus the fun, of the situation, by being a colossal shitlord that gets to make up universes when that is clearly not the intent of the hypothetical.

You pick a fictional universe, let's say Doctor Who, and that's it. You don't get to pick a Doctor Who fan fic. Though, granted, in the Doctor Who universe changing your sex with some kind of pseudo-science gadget would probably not be too hard. Anyway, you get what I mean. You get a universe as it truly is, not how you wish it was.

Now you're just insulting me.. Insulting my logic... *grumble noises*

The only thing against our 'retarded' logic is what you yourself are adding to it. I bet the person who wrote the damn question wrote it in about 3 seconds and didn't even bother thinking about any of that. We're taking a simple dumb question game and construing it into something much more serious than it actually is.

That's a natural inference to make, because if those rules don't exist, then the question is pointless and stupid. You sound like one of those kids who, while playing army or cowboys or whatever, says he has an invincible shield.
User avatar
#366 - departed (03/19/2014) [-]
Naw those guys are faggots. That's different anyways, when playing those games you can specifically mention that that is not allowed. Also, how come most of the people in the thread haven't made the same inference as you even though you say it's 'natural'? Again if you make that inference you're the looser here and the question would not be pointless or stupid if it actually existed.
