Another good one is reuban sandwiches, they're pretty easy to assemble and take only about an hour or so to make, and can feed a lot of people casually. I have my own recipe for them if you'd like it.

If you want the easy way out do Pizza Rolls, everyone loves those. But what kind of friends are they? (what kind of stuff are they used to eating/what do they like)

Im not great at cooking but im not so bad that all i can cook is pizza rolls. I was thinking more pasta recipies or chilis. I also dont wanna make anything that seem fast food-y.

Wear a nice polo and Khaki shorts or pants depending on climate. speak with confidence and EYE CONTACT ALWAYS. try not to say Uh or um a lot. be ready to back up your weaknesses and turn them into strengths.\

Regardless of whether its a nice place or a fucking fast food joint, dress WELL. Dress nice even. The fact that you do no matter where you are in the employment bracket stands out. They always say dress for the job you want not the job you have, so don't dress like you have no job.

Don't think of it like they are sitting there judging you, think of it this way. They are asking questions about the one thing you are the worlds foremost expert on: YOU! You are the expert in this situation and they have come to you. Don't be afraid, just answer honestly like an adult, if you made a mistake somewhere in your past just say what you would do now to amend that, etc.

Consider what they look for in that job when you answer questions. If it were food, they would want you to be well versed in food safety and cleanliness. So when they ask you questions, fill in the areas where that would apply. Say they asked you what you would do when you got done taking out the garbage in a deli; make sure you say you wash your hands!

Don't be afraid to throw a little bullshit around. If they ask questions like "when was a time you had to work in a team to get something done" or some bullshit, don't be afraid to say something that isnt true if you can't think of something. What they are looking for is that you understand what they want you to do, not that you've done everything under the sun.

Just go in, be civil, shake hands with a good grip, look them in the eye, don't be bothered by their questions, don't be afraid to take a few seconds to think, try to relax and not fidget, a bottle of water on hand is a good idea (you can take a sip when you need a minute to think and it won't look funny), wear antipersperant, make sure your clothes don't look worn out, easy stuff. Just make yourself look like a good member of society and act like a responsible adult.

And remember! The worst they can say is no. And that's ok. They say that to LOTS of people.

Whatever you do, don't drink this before you go in.

Keep eye contact the entire time.

Say you're good working in teams and you don't have any problem getting used to change. That will make the interviewer wet his pants.
