Obsessed with Batman.
Seriously, not a hottopic consumer who says that.

depends on the accident tbh. most likely you would not get a reward, but the police station and officers on scene would and would probably let you go. lol
User avatar #84 - tankerdude (05/19/2014) [-]
yes, because that is still a hit and run but because of the person you hit you would probably get off easy if you have good lawyer
User avatar #88 - thegamerslife (05/19/2014) [-]
He would not get in trouble. it wasn't a hit and RUN if you stay there and wait for the police. duh.

at any rate, you could probably be let go after only a few hours if you truly did get into an ACCIDENT! in my state (unlike Oregon) pedestrians do not 100% of the time have the right away. they have to use common sense and wait for a road to be clear before stepping out onto the road. so stepping out into traffic nowhere near a crosswalk would result in YOU being at fault, not the driver. also for bikes, I could have run down over a dozen of them by this point and not been in trouble at all cause they are legally required to WALK there bikes across crosswalks which never seems to happen.

at any rate, not the drivers fault completely if you are choosing to not look out for them or give a shit that they are giant killing machines.

okay manslaughter but it would still be the fault of the driver because he said he accidentally ran him over and not he jumped in front of my car would usually be jail or prison sentence of at least 12 months, plus fines and probation depending on state

yeah I understand, I've just been very nitpicky today for some reason and the fact that it's 1 AM doesn't help

Well I've been travelling most of Northern and Western Europe and tipping is pretty much a thing of courtesy but it's usually just a couple of Euros(or pounds in Britain) from what I've seen.

That's pretty cool, i wouldn't mind so much minimum wage and encouraged like $5 tips for a job well done replacing the 15-20% thing

Well tipping is usually a thing where I've been as long as the server has done their job properly.
